1 ¶ Adão, Sete, Enos, Adam, Seth, Enosh,
2 Cainã, Maalaleel, Jerede, Kenan, Mahalalel, Jared,
3 Enoque, Metusalém, Lameque, Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech,
4 Noé, Sem, Cão e Jafé. Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
5 Os filhos de Jafé foram: Gomer, Magogue, Madai, Javã, Tubal, Meseque e Tiras. The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
6 E os filhos de Gomer: Asquenaz, Rifate, Togarma. And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Diphath, and Togarmah.
7 E os filhos de Javã: Elisá, Társis, Quitim e Dodanim. And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Rodanim.
8 Os filhos de Cão: Cuxe, Mizraim, Pute e Canaã. The sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
9 E os filhos de Cuxe eram: Seba, Havilá, Sabtá, Raamá e Sabtecá; os filhos de Raamá: Sebá e Dedã. And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raama, and Sabteca. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba, and Dedan.
10 E Cuxe gerou a Ninrode, que começou a ser poderoso na terra. And Cush begat Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
11 E Mizraim gerou aos ludeus e aos anameus e aos leabeus e aos naftueus, And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
12 E aos patruseus e aos caslueus (dos quais procedem os filisteus) e aos caftoreus. and Pathrusim, and Casluhim (from whence came the Philistines), and Caphtorim.
13 E Canaã gerou a Sidom seu primogênito, e a Hete, And Canaan begat Sidon his first-born, and Heth,
14 E aos jebuseus e aos amorreus e aos girgaseus, and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
15 E aos heveus e aos arqueus e aos sineus, and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
16 E aos arvadeus e aos zemareus e aos hamateus. and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17 E foram os filhos de Sem: Elão, Assur, Arfaxade, Lude, Arã, Uz, Hul, Geter e Meseque. The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
18 E Arfaxade gerou a Selá e Selá gerou a Éber. And Arpachshad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.
19 E a Éber nasceram dois filhos: o nome de um foi Pelegue, porquanto nos seus dias se repartiu a terra, e o nome de seu irmão era Joctã. And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.
20 E Joctã gerou a Almoda, a Selefe, a Hazarmavé, e a Jerá, And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
21 E a Hadorão, a Usal, e a Dicla, and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
22 E a Obal, a Abimael, a Sebá, and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
23 E a Ofir, a Havilá, e a Jobabe: todos estes foram filhos de Joctã. and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
24 Sem, Arfaxade, Selá, Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah,
25 Éber, Pelegue, Reú, Eber, Peleg, Reu,
26 Serugue, Naor, Terá, Serug, Nahor, Terah,
27 Abrão, que é Abraão. Abram (the same is Abraham).
28 ¶ Os filhos de Abraão foram: Isaque e Ismael. The sons of Abraham: Isaac, and Ishmael.

33 E os filhos de Midiã: Efá, Efer, Enoque, Abida e Elda; todos estes foram filhos de Quetura. And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah.
34 Abraão, pois, gerou a Isaque; e foram os filhos de Isaque: Esaú e Israel. And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau, and Israel.
35 Os filhos de Esaú: Elifaz, Reuel, Jeús, Jalão e Coré. The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah.
36 Os filhos de Elifaz: Temã, Omar, Zefi, Gaetã, Quenaz, Timna e Amaleque. The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37 Os filhos de Reuel: Naate, Zerá, Samá e Mizá. The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38 E os filhos de Seir: Lotã, Sobal, Zibeão, Aná, Disom, Eser e Disã. And the sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39 E os filhos de Lotã: Hori e Homã; e a irmã de Lotã foi Timna. And the sons of Lotan: Hori, and Homam; and Timna was Lotan's sister.
40 Os filhos de Sobal eram Alvã, Manaate, Ebal, Sefi e Onã; e os filhos de Zibeão eram Aiá e Aná. The sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon: Aiah, and Anah.
41 O filho de Aná foi Disom; e os filhos de Disom foram Hanrão, Esbã, Itrã e Querã. The sons of Anah: Dishon. And the sons of Dishon: Hamran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42 Os filhos de Eser eram: Bilã, Zaavã e Jaacã; os filhos de Disã eram: Uz e Arã. The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan: Uz, and Aran.

And Baal-hanan died, and Hadad reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Pai: and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.
