Gênesis 10

1 ¶ Estas, pois, são as gerações dos filhos de Noé: Sem, Cão e Jafé; e nasceram-lhes filhos depois do dilúvio. Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, [namely], of Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.
2 Os filhos de Jafé são: Gomer, Magogue, Madai, Javã, Tubal, Meseque e Tiras. The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
3 E os filhos de Gomer são: Asquenaz, Rifate e Togarma. And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
4 E os filhos de Javã são: Elisá, Társis, Quitim e Dodanim. And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
5 Por estes foram repartidas as ilhas dos gentios nas suas terras, cada qual segundo a sua língua, segundo as suas famílias, entre as suas nações. Of these were the isles of the nations divided in their lands, every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.
6 ¶ E os filhos de Cão são: Cuxe, Mizraim, Pute e Canaã. And the sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, and Put, and Canaan.
7 E os filhos de Cuxe são: Sebá, Havilá, Sabtá, Raamá e Sabtecá; e os filhos de Raamá: Sebá e Dedã. And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabteca; and the sons of Raamah: Sheba, and Dedan.
8 E Cuxe gerou a Ninrode; este começou a ser poderoso na terra. And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
9 E este foi poderoso caçador diante da face do SENHOR; por isso se diz: Como Ninrode, poderoso caçador diante do SENHOR. He was a mighty hunter before Jehovah: wherefore it is said, Like Nimrod a mighty hunter before Jehovah.
10 mapa E o princípio do seu reino foi Babel, Ereque, Acade e Calné, na terra de Sinar. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
11 mapa Desta mesma terra saiu à Assíria e edificou a Nínive, Reobote-Ir, Calá, Out of that land he went forth into Assyria, and builded Nineveh, and Rehoboth-ir, and Calah,
12 mapa E Resen, entre Nínive e Calá (esta é a grande cidade). and Resen between Nineveh and Calah (the same is the great city).
13 E Mizraim gerou a Ludim, a Anamim, a Leabim, a Naftuim, And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
14 A Patrusim e a Casluim (donde saíram os filisteus) e a Caftorim. and Pathrusim, and Casluhim (whence went forth the Philistines), and Caphtorim.
15 ¶ E Canaã gerou a Sidom, seu primogênito, e a Hete; And Canaan begat Sidon his first-born, and Heth,
16 E ao jebuseu, ao amorreu, ao girgaseu, and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
17 E ao heveu, ao arqueu, ao sineu, and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
18 E ao arvadeu, ao zemareu, e ao hamateu, e depois se espalharam as famílias dos cananeus. and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanite spread abroad.
19 mapa E foi o termo dos cananeus desde Sidom, indo para Gerar, até Gaza; indo para Sodoma e Gomorra, Admá e Zeboim, até Lasa. And the border of the Canaanite was from Sidon, as thou goest toward Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest toward Sodom and Gomorrah and Admah and Zeboiim, unto Lasha.
20 Estes são os filhos de Cão segundo as suas famílias, segundo as suas línguas, em suas terras, em suas nações. These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, in their nations.
21 ¶ E a Sem nasceram filhos, e ele é o pai de todos os filhos de Eber, o irmão mais velho de Jafé. And unto Shem, the father of all the children of Eber, the elder brother of Japheth, to him also were children born.
22 Os filhos de Sem {são:}) Elão, Assur, Arfaxade, Lude e Arã. The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram.
23 E os filhos de Arã {são:}) Uz, Hul, Geter e Más. And the sons of Aram: Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.
24 E Arfaxade gerou a Selá; e Selá gerou a Éber. And Arpachshad begat Shelah; and Shelah begat Eber.
25 E a Éber nasceram dois filhos: o nome de um foi Pelegue, porquanto em seus dias se repartiu a terra, e o nome do seu irmão foi Joctã. And unto Eber were born two sons: The name of the one was Peleg. For in his days was the earth divided. And his brother's name was Joktan.
26 E Joctã gerou a Almodá, a Selefe, a Hazarmavé, a Jerá, And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
27 A Hadorão, a Usal, a Dicla, and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
28 A Obal, a Abimael, a Sebá, and Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
29 A Ofir, a Havilá e a Jobabe; todos estes foram filhos de Joctã. and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan.
30 mapa E foi a sua habitação desde Messa, indo para Sefar, montanha do oriente. And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest toward Sephar, the mountain of the east.

32 Estas são as famílias dos filhos de Noé segundo as suas gerações, nas suas nações; e destes foram divididas as nações na terra depois do dilúvio. These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and of these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.
