Isaías 52

 
1 ver mapa ¶ Desperta, desperta, veste-te da tua fortaleza, ó Sião; veste-te das tuas roupas formosas, ó Jerusalém, cidade santa, porque nunca mais entrará em ti nem incircunciso nem imundo. Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.
2 ver mapa Sacode-te do pó, levanta-te, e assenta-te, ó Jerusalém: solta-te das cadeias de teu pescoço, ó cativa filha de Sião. Shake thyself from the dust; arise, sit [on thy throne], O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bonds of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.
3 Porque assim diz o SENHOR: Por nada fostes vendidos; também sem dinheiro sereis resgatados. For thus saith Jehovah, Ye were sold for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money.
4 ver mapa Porque assim diz o Senhor DEUS: O meu povo em tempos passados desceu ao Egito, para peregrinar lá, e a Assíria sem razão o oprimiu. For thus saith the Lord Jehovah, My people went down at the first into Egypt to sojourn there: and the Assyrian hath oppressed them without cause.
5 E agora, que tenho eu que fazer aqui, diz o SENHOR, pois o meu povo foi tomado sem nenhuma razão? Os que dominam sobre ele dão uivos, diz o SENHOR; e o meu nome é blasfemado incessantemente o dia todo. Now therefore, what do I here, saith Jehovah, seeing that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them do howl, saith Jehovah, and my name continually all the day is blasphemed.
6 Portanto o meu povo saberá o meu nome; pois, naquele dia, saberá que sou eu mesmo o que falo: Eis-me aqui. Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore [they shall know] in that day that I am he that doth speak; behold, it is I.
7 ver mapa ¶ Quão formosos são, sobre os montes, os pés do que anuncia as boas novas, que faz ouvir a paz, do que anuncia o bem, que faz ouvir a salvação, do que diz a Sião: O teu Deus reina! How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace, that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation, that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
8 ver mapa Eis a voz dos teus atalaias! Eles alçam a voz, juntamente exultam; porque olho a olho verão, quando o SENHOR fizer Sião voltar. The voice of thy watchmen! they lift up the voice, together do they sing; for they shall see eye to eye, when Jehovah returneth to Zion.
9 ver mapa Clamai cantando, exultai juntamente, desertos de Jerusalém; porque o SENHOR consolou o seu povo, remiu a Jerusalém. Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem; for Jehovah hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.
10 O SENHOR desnudou o seu santo braço perante os olhos de todas as nações; e todos os confins da terra verão a salvação do nosso Deus. Jehovah hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
11 Retirai-vos, retirai-vos, saí daí, não toqueis coisa imunda; saí do meio dela, purificai-vos, os que levais os vasos do SENHOR. Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; cleanse yourselves, ye that bear the vessels of Jehovah.
12 Porque vós não saireis apressadamente, nem ireis fugindo; porque o SENHOR irá diante de vós, e o Deus de Israel será a vossa retaguarda. For ye shall not go out in haste, neither shall ye go by flight: for Jehovah will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rearward.
13 ¶ Eis que o meu servo procederá com prudência; será exaltado, e elevado, e mui sublime. Behold, my servant shall deal wisely, he shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high.
14 Como pasmaram muitos à vista dele, pois o seu parecer estava tão desfigurado, mais do que o de outro qualquer, e a sua figura mais do que a dos outros filhos dos homens. Like as many were astonished at thee (his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men),
15 Assim borrifará muitas nações, e os reis fecharão as suas bocas por causa dele; porque aquilo que não lhes foi anunciado verão, e aquilo que eles não ouviram entenderão. so shall he sprinkle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they understand.
