Josué 13

1 ¶ Era, porém, Josué já velho, entrado em dias; e disse-lhe o SENHOR: Já estás velho, entrado em dias; e ainda muitíssima terra ficou para possuir. Now Joshua was old and well stricken in years; and Jehovah said unto him, Thou art old and well stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.
2 A terra que ainda fica é esta: Todos os termos dos filisteus e toda a Gesur; This is the land that yet remaineth: all the regions of the Philistines, and all the Geshurites;
3 mapa Desde Sior, que está em frente ao Egito, até ao termo de Ecrom para o norte, que se diz ser dos cananeus; cinco príncipes dos filisteus; o gazeu, e o asdodeu, o asqueloneu, o giteu, e o ecroneu, e os aveus; from the Shihor, which is before Egypt, even unto the border of Ekron northward, [which] is reckoned to the Canaanites; the five lords of the Philistines; the Gazites, and the Ashdodites, the Ashkelonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avvim,
4 mapa Desde o sul, toda a terra dos cananeus, e Meara, que é dos sidônios; até Afeca, até ao termo dos amorreus; on the south; all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that belongeth to the Sidonians, unto Aphek, to the border of the Amorites;
5 mapa Como também a terra dos gebalitas, e todo o Líbano, para o nascente do sol, desde Baal-Gade, ao pé do monte Hermom, até a entrada de Hamate; and the land of the Gebalites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrising, from Baal-gad under mount Hermon unto the entrance of Hamath;
6 mapa Todos os que habitam nas montanhas desde o Líbano até Misrefote-Maim, todos os sidônios; eu os lançarei de diante dos filhos de Israel; tão-somente reparte a terra em herança a Israel, como já te mandei. all the inhabitants of the hill-country from Lebanon unto Misrephoth-maim, even all the Sidonians; them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only allot thou it unto Israel for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.
7 ¶ Reparte, pois, agora esta terra por herança às nove tribos, e à meia tribo de Manassés. Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.
8 mapa Com a qual os rubenitas e os gaditas já receberam a sua herança, além do Jordão para o oriente, assim como já lhes tinha dado Moisés, servo do SENHOR. With him the Reubenites and the Gadites received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond the Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of Jehovah gave them:
9 mapa Desde Aroer, que está à beira do ribeiro de Arnom, e a cidade que está no meio do vale, e toda a campina de Medeba até Dibom; from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain of Medeba unto Dibon;
10 mapa E todas as cidades de Siom, rei dos amorreus, que reinou em Hesbom, até ao termo dos filhos de Amom; and all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, unto the border of the children of Ammon;
11 mapa E Gileade, e o termo dos gesureus, e dos maacateus, e todo o monte Hermom, e toda a Basã até Salcá; and Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maacathites, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salecah;
12 mapa Todo o reino de Ogue em Basã, que reinou em Astarote e em Edrei; este ficou do restante dos gigantes que Moisés feriu e expulsou. all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei (the same was left of the remnant of the Rephaim); for these did Moses smite, and drove them out.
13 mapa Porém os filhos de Israel não expulsaram os gesureus, nem os maacateus; antes Gesur e Maacate ficaram habitando no meio de Israel até ao dia de hoje. Nevertheless the children of Israel drove not out the Geshurites, nor the Maacathites: but Geshur and Maacath dwell in the midst of Israel unto this day.
14 Tão-somente à tribo de Levi não deu herança; os sacrifícios queimados do SENHOR Deus de Israel são a sua herança, como já lhe tinha falado. Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance; the offerings of Jehovah, the God of Israel, made by fire are his inheritance, as he spake unto him.
15 Assim Moisés deu à tribo dos filhos de Rúben, conforme as suas famílias. And Moses gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their families.
16 mapa E foi o seu limite desde Aroer, que está à beira do ribeiro de Arnom, e a cidade que está no meio do vale, e toda a campina até Medeba; And their border was from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain by Medeba;
17 mapa Hesbom e todas as suas cidades, que estão na campina; Dibom, e Bamote-Baal, e Bete-Baal-Meom; Heshbon, and all its cities that are in the plain; Dibon, and Bamoth-baal, and Beth-baal-meon,
18 mapa E Jasa e Quedemote, e Mefaate; and Jahaz, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,
19 mapa E Quiriataim e Sibma, e Zerete-Saar, no monte do vale; and Kiriathaim, and Sibmah, and Zereth-shahar in the mount of the valley,
20 mapa Bete-Peor, e Asdote-Pisga, Bete-Jesimote; and Beth-peor, and the slopes of Pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth,
21 mapa E todas as cidades da campina, e todo o reino de Siom, rei dos amorreus, que reinou em Hesbom, a quem Moisés feriu, como também aos príncipes de Midiã, Evi, e Requém, e Zur, e Hur, e Reba, príncipes de Siom, moradores da terra. and all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote with the chiefs of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, the princes of Sihon, that dwelt in the land.
22 Também os filhos de Israel mataram à espada a Balaão, filho de Beor, o adivinho, com os outros que por eles foram mortos. Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among the rest of their slain.
23 mapa E o termo dos filhos de Rúben ficou sendo o Jordão e os seus limites; esta foi a herança dos filhos de Rúben, segundo as suas famílias, as cidades, e as suas aldeias. And the border of the children of Reuben was the Jordan, and the border [thereof]. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben according to their families, the cities and the villages thereof.
24 E deu Moisés à tribo de Gade, aos filhos de Gade, segundo as suas famílias. And Moses gave unto the tribe of Gad, unto the children of Gad, according to their families.
25 mapa E foi o seu termo Jazer, e todas as cidades de Gileade, e metade da terra dos filhos de Amom, até Aroer, que está em frente de Rabá. And their border was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that is before Rabbah;
26 mapa E desde Hesbom até Ramate-Mizpá e Betonim, e desde Maanaim até ao termo de Debir; and from Heshbon unto Ramath-mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim unto the border of Debir;
27 mapa E no vale Bete-Arã, e Bete-Nimra, e Sucote, Zafom, que ficara do restante do reino de Siom, em Hesbom, o Jordão e o seu termo, até a extremidade do mar de Quinerete além do Jordão para o oriente. and in the valley, Beth-haram, and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, the Jordan and the border [thereof], unto the uttermost part of the sea of Chinnereth beyond the Jordan eastward.
28 Esta é a herança dos filhos de Gade segundo as suas famílias, as cidades e as suas aldeias. This is the inheritance of the children of Gad according to their families, the cities and the villages thereof.
29 Deu também Moisés herança à meia tribo de Manassés; e deu à meia tribo dos filhos de Manassés, segundo as suas famílias. And Moses gave [inheritance] unto the half-tribe of Manasseh: and it was for the half-tribe of the children of Manasseh according to their families.
30 mapa De maneira que o seu termo foi desde Maanaim, todo o Basã, todo o reino de Ogue, rei de Basã, e todas as aldeias de Jair, que estão em Basã, sessenta cidades, And their border was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, threescore cities:
31 mapa E metade de Gileade, e Astarote, e Edrei, cidades do reino de Ogue em Basã, deu aos filhos de Maquir, filho de Manassés, a saber, à metade dos filhos de Maquir, segundo as suas famílias. and half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were for the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even for the half of the children of Machir according to their families.
32 mapa Isto é o que Moisés repartiu em herança nas campinas de Moabe, além do Jordão para o oriente de Jericó. These are the inheritances which Moses distributed in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan at Jericho, eastward.
33 Porém, à tribo de Levi, Moisés não deu herança; o SENHOR Deus de Israel é a sua herança, como já lhe tinha falado. But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave no inheritance: Jehovah, the God of Israel, is their inheritance, as he spake unto them.
