| 2 | Até quando consultarei com a minha alma, tendo tristeza no meu coração cada dia? Até quando se exaltará sobre mim o meu inimigo? | How long shall I take counsel in my soul, Having sorrow in my heart all the day? How long shall mine enemy be exalted over me? |
| 3 | Atende-me, ouve-me, ó SENHOR meu Deus; ilumina os meus olhos para que eu não adormeça na morte; | Consider [and] answer me, O Jehovah my God: Lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the [sleep of] death; |
| 4 | Para que o meu inimigo não diga: Prevaleci contra ele; e os meus adversários não se alegrem, vindo eu a vacilar. | Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; [Lest] mine adversaries rejoice when I am moved. |
| 5 | Mas eu confio na tua benignidade; na tua salvação se alegrará o meu coração. | But I have trusted in thy lovingkindness; My heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. |
| 6 | Cantarei ao SENHOR, porquanto me tem feito muito bem. | I will sing unto Jehovah, Because he hath dealt bountifully with me. |
