For the Chief Musician; on a stringed instrument. [A Psalm] of David. Hear my cry, O God; Attend unto my prayer. |

Desde o fim da terra clamarei a ti, quando o meu coração estiver desmaiado; leva-me para a rocha que é mais alta do que eu. |
From the end of the earth will I call unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. |

Pois tens sido um refúgio para mim, e uma torre forte contra o inimigo. |
For thou hast been a refuge for me, A strong tower from the enemy. |

Habitarei no teu tabernáculo para sempre; abrigar-me-ei no esconderijo das tuas asas. (Selá.) |
I will dwell in thy tabernacle for ever: I will take refuge in the covert of thy wings. Selah |

¶ Pois tu, ó Deus, ouviste os meus votos; deste-me a herança dos que temem o teu nome. |
For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: Thou hast given [me] the heritage of those that fear thy name. |

Prolongarás os dias do rei; e os seus anos serão como muitas gerações. |
Thou wilt prolong the king's life; His years shall be as many generations. |

|
Ele permanecerá diante de Deus para sempre; prepara-lhe misericórdia e verdade que o preservem. |
He shall abide before God for ever: Oh prepare lovingkindness and truth, that they may preserve him. |

Assim cantarei louvores ao teu nome perpetuamente, para pagar os meus votos de dia em dia. |
So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, That I may daily perform my vows. |
