| 4 | Sustentaste os meus olhos acordados; estou tão perturbado que não posso falar. | Thou holdest mine eyes watching: I am so troubled that I cannot speak. |
| 5 | Considerava os dias da antiguidade, os anos dos tempos antigos. | I have considered the days of old, The years of ancient times. |
| 6 | De noite chamei à lembrança o meu cântico; meditei em meu coração, e o meu espírito esquadrinhou. | I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart; And my spirit maketh diligent search. |
| 7 | Rejeitará o SENHOR para sempre e não tornará a ser favorável? | Will the Lord cast off for ever? And will he be favorable no more? |
| 8 | Cessou para sempre a sua benignidade? Acabou-se já a promessa de geração em geração? | Is his lovingkindness clean gone for ever? Doth his promise fail for evermore? |
| 9 | Esqueceu-se Deus de ter misericórdia? Ou encerrou ele as suas misericórdias na sua ira? (Selá.) | Hath God forgotten to be gracious? Hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah |
| 10 | E eu disse: Isto é enfermidade minha; mas eu me {lembrarei}) dos anos da destra do Altíssimo. | And I said, This is my infirmity; [But I will remember] the years of the right hand of the Most High. |
| 11 | ¶ Eu me lembrarei das obras do SENHOR; certamente que eu me lembrarei das tuas maravilhas da antiguidade. | I will make mention of the deeds of Jehovah; For I will remember thy wonders of old. |
| 12 | Meditarei também em todas as tuas obras, e falarei dos teus feitos. | I will meditate also upon all thy work, And muse on thy doings. |
| 13 | O teu caminho, ó Deus, está no santuário. Quem é Deus tão grande como o nosso Deus? | Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: Who is a great god like unto God? |
| 14 | Tu és o Deus que fazes maravilhas; tu fizeste notória a tua força entre os povos. | Thou art the God that doest wonders: Thou hast made known thy strength among the peoples. |
| 15 | Com o teu braço remiste o teu povo, os filhos de Jacó e de José. (Selá.) | Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, The sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah |

| 17 | As nuvens lançaram água, os céus deram um som; as tuas flechas correram duma para outra parte. | The clouds poured out water; The skies sent out a sound: Thine arrows also went abroad. |
| 18 | A voz do teu trovão estava no céu; os relâmpagos iluminaram o mundo; a terra se abalou e tremeu. | The voice of thy thunder was in the whirlwind; The lightnings lightened the world: The earth trembled and shook. |
| 19 | O teu caminho é no mar, e as tuas veredas nas águas grandes, e os teus passos não são conhecidos. | Thy way was in the sea, And thy paths in the great waters, And thy footsteps were not known. |
| 20 | Guiaste o teu povo, como a um rebanho, pela mão de Moisés e de Arão. | Thou leddest thy people like a flock, By the hand of Moses and Aaron. |
