For the Chief Musician, set to Shoshanim Eduth.. A Psalm of Asaph. Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, Thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; Thou that sittest [above] the cherubim, shine forth. |

Perante Efraim, Benjamim e Manassés, desperta o teu poder, e vem salvar-nos. |
Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up thy might, And come to save us. |

Faze-nos voltar, ó Deus, e faze resplandecer o teu rosto, e seremos salvos. |
Turn us again, O God; And cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved. |
|

|
O SENHOR Deus dos Exércitos, até quando te indignarás contra a oração do teu povo? |
O Jehovah God of hosts, How long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people? |

|
Tu os sustentas com pão de lágrimas, e lhes dás a beber lágrimas com abundância. |
Thou hast fed them with the bread of tears, And given them tears to drink in large measure. |
|

|
Tu nos pões em contendas com os nossos vizinhos, e os nossos inimigos zombam de nós entre si. |
Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbors; And our enemies laugh among themselves. |
|
7
|
Faze-nos voltar, ó Deus dos Exércitos, e faze resplandecer o teu rosto, e seremos salvos. |
Turn us again, O God of hosts; And cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved. |

¶ Trouxeste uma vinha do Egito; lançaste fora os gentios, e a plantaste. |
Thou broughtest a vine out of Egypt: Thou didst drive out the nations, and plantedst it. |

Preparaste-lhe lugar, e fizeste com que ela deitasse raízes, e encheu a terra. |
Thou preparedst [room] before it, And it took deep root, and filled the land. |
|

|
Os montes foram cobertos da sua sombra, e os seus ramos se fizeram como os formosos cedros. |
The mountains were covered with the shadow of it, And the boughs thereof were [like] cedars of God. |

Ela estendeu a sua ramagem até ao mar, e os seus ramos até ao rio. |
It sent out its branches unto the sea, And its shoots unto the River. |

Por que quebraste então os seus valados, de modo que todos os que passam por ela a vindimam? |
Why hast thou broken down its walls, So that all they that pass by the way do pluck it? |

|
O javali da selva a devasta, e as feras do campo a devoram. |
The boar out of the wood doth ravage it, And the wild beasts of the field feed on it. |

|
Oh! Deus dos Exércitos, volta-te, nós te rogamos, atende dos céus, e vê, e visita esta vide; |
Turn again, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: Look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine, |

|
E a videira que a tua destra plantou, e o sarmento que fortificaste para ti. |
And the stock which thy right hand planted, And the branch that thou madest strong for thyself. |

|
Está queimada pelo fogo, está cortada; pereceu pela repreensão da tua face. |
It is burned with fire, it is cut down: They perish at the rebuke of thy countenance. |

17
|
Seja a tua mão sobre o homem da tua destra, sobre o filho do homem, que fortificaste para ti. |
Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, Upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself. |
|

|
Assim nós não te viraremos as costas; guarda-nos em vida, e invocaremos o teu nome. |
So shall we not go back from thee: Quicken thou us, and we will call upon thy name. |

Faze-nos voltar, SENHOR Deus dos Exércitos; faze resplandecer o teu rosto, e seremos salvos. |
Turn us again, O Jehovah God of hosts; Cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved. |
