1 Crônicas 14

 
1 ver mapa Und Hiram, der König zu Tyrus, sandte Boten zu David und Zedernholz, Maurer und Zimmerleute, daß sie ihm ein Haus bauten. And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar-trees, and masons, and carpenters, to build him a house.
2 Und David merkte, daß ihn der HERR zum König über Israel bestätigt hatte; denn sein Königreich stieg auf um seines Volkes Israel willen. And David perceived that Jehovah had established him king over Israel; for his kingdom was exalted on high, for his people Israel's sake.
3 ver mapa Und David nahm noch mehr Weiber zu Jerusalem und zeugte noch mehr Söhne und Töchter. And David took more wives at Jerusalem; and David begat more sons and daughters.
4 ver mapa Und die ihm zu Jerusalem geboren wurden, hießen also: Sammua, Sobab, Nathan, Salomo, And these are the names of the children whom he had in Jerusalem: Shammua, and Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon,
5 Jibhar, Elisua, Elpelet, and Ibhar, and Elishua, and Elpelet,
6 Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia, and Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,
7 Elisama, Baeljada, Eliphelet. and Elishama, and Beeliada, and Eliphelet.
8 Und da die Philister hörten, daß David zum König gesalbt war über ganz Israel, zogen sie alle herauf, David zu suchen. Da das David hörte, zog aus gegen sie. And when the Philistines heard that David was anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David: and David heard of it, and went out against them.
9 ver mapa Und die Philister kamen und ließen sich nieder im Grunde Rephaim. Now the Philistines had come and made a raid in the valley of Rephaim.
10 David aber fragte Gott und sprach: Soll ich hinaufziehen wider die Philister? und willst du sie in meine Hand geben? Der HERR sprach zu ihm: Zieh hinauf! ich hab sie in deine Hände gegeben. And David inquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? and wilt thou deliver them into my hand? And Jehovah said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into thy hand.
11 ver mapa Und da sie hinaufzogen gen Baal-Perazim, schlug sie David daselbst. Und David sprach: Gott hat meine Feinde durch meine Hand zertrennt, wie sich das Wasser trennt. Daher hießen sie die Stätte Baal-Perazim. So they came up to Baal-perazim, and David smote them there; and David said, God hath broken mine enemies by my hand, like the breach of waters. Therefore they called the name of that place Baal-perazim.
12 Und sie ließen ihre Götter daselbst; da hieß sie David mit Feuer verbrennen. And they left their gods there; and David gave commandment, and they were burned with fire.
13 Aber die Philister machten sich wieder heran und ließen sich nieder im Grunde. And the Philistines yet again made a raid in the valley.
14 Und David fragte abermals Gott; und Gott sprach zu ihm: Du sollst nicht hinaufziehen hinter ihnen her, sondern lenke dich von ihnen, daß du an sie kommst gegenüber den Maulbeerbäumen. And David inquired again of God; and God said unto him, Thou shalt not go up after them: turn away from them, and come upon them over against the mulberry-trees.
15 Wenn du dann wirst hören das Rauschen oben auf den Maulbeerbäumen einhergehen, so fahre heraus zum Streit; denn Gott ist da vor dir ausgezogen, zu schlagen der Philister Heer. And it shall be, when thou hearest the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry-trees, that then thou shalt go out to battle; for God is gone out before thee to smite the host of the Philistines.
16 ver mapa Und David tat, wie ihm Gott geboten hatte; und sie schlugen das Heer der Philister von Gibeon an bis gen Geser. And David did as God commanded him: and they smote the host of the Philistines from Gibeon even to Gezer.
17 Und Davids Namen ging aus in alle Lande, und der HERR ließ seine Furcht über alle Heiden kommen. And the fame of David went out into all lands; and Jehovah brought the fear of him upon all nations.
