Colossenses 4

1 Ihr Herren, was recht und billig ist, das beweiset den Knechten, und wisset, daß ihr auch einen HERRN im Himmel habt. Masters, render unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.
2 Haltet an am Gebet und wachet in demselben mit Danksagung; Continue stedfastly in prayer, watching therein with thanksgiving;
3 und betet zugleich auch für uns, auf daß Gott uns eine Tür des Wortes auftue, zu reden das Geheimnis Christi, darum ich auch gebunden bin, withal praying for us also, that God may open unto us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds;
4 auf daß ich es offenbare, wie ich soll reden. that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
5 Wandelt weise gegen die, die draußen sind, und kauft die Zeit aus. Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
6 Eure Rede sei allezeit lieblich und mit Salz gewürzt, daß ihr wißt, wie ihr einem jeglichen antworten sollt. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer each one.
7 Wie es um mich steht, wird euch alles kundtun Tychikus, der liebe Bruder und getreue Diener und Mitknecht in dem HERRN, All my affairs shall Tychicus make known unto you, the beloved brother and faithful minister and fellow-servant in the Lord:
8 welchen ich habe darum zu euch gesandt, daß er erfahre, wie es sich mit euch verhält, und daß er eure Herzen ermahne, whom I have sent you for this very purpose, that ye may know our state, and that he may comfort your hearts;
9 samt Onesimus, dem getreuen und lieben Bruder, welcher von den euren ist. Alles, wie es hier steht, werden sie euch kundtun. together with Onesimus, the faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things that [are done] here.
10 Es grüßt euch Aristarchus, mein Mitgefangener, und Markus, der Neffe des Barnabas, über welchen ihr etliche Befehle empfangen habt (so er zu euch kommt, nehmt ihn auf!) Aristarchus my fellow-prisoner saluteth you, and Mark, the cousin of Barnabas (touching whom ye received commandments; if he come unto you, receive him),
11 und Jesus, der da heißt Just, die aus den Juden sind. Diese sind allein meine Gehilfen am Reich Gottes, die mir ein Trost geworden sind. and Jesus that is called Justus, who are of the circumcision: these only [are my] fellow-workers unto the kingdom of God, men that have been a comfort unto me.
12 Es grüßt euch Epaphras, der von den euren ist, ein Knecht Christi, und allezeit ringt für euch mit Gebeten, auf daß ihr bestehet vollkommen und erfüllt mit allem Willen Gottes. Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, saluteth you, always striving for you in his prayers, that ye may stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God.
13 mapa Ich gebe ihm Zeugnis, daß er großen Fleiß hat um euch und um die zu Laodizea und zu Hierapolis. For I bear him witness, that he hath much labor for you, and for them in Laodicea, and for them in Hierapolis.
14 Es grüßt euch Lukas, der Arzt, der Geliebte, und Demas. Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas salute you.
15 mapa Grüßet die Brüder zu Laodizea und den Nymphas und die Gemeinde in seinem Hause. Salute the brethren that are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church that is in their house.
16 mapa Und wenn der Brief bei euch gelesen ist, so schafft, daß er auch in der Gemeinde zu Laodizea gelesen werde und daß ihr den von Laodizea lest. And when this epistle hath been read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye also read the epistle from Laodicea.
17 Und saget Archippus: Siehe auf das Amt, das du empfangen hast in dem HERRN, daß du es ausrichtest! And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.
18 Mein Gruß mit meiner, des Paulus, Hand. Gedenket meiner Bande! Die Gnade sei mit euch! Amen. {~} The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you.
