O filho sábio é a alegria de seu pai; o insensato, porém, a aflição de sua mãe.
Tesouros mal adquiridos de nada servem, mas a justiça livra da morte.
O Senhor não deixa o justo passar fome, mas repele a cobiça do ímpio.
A mão preguiçosa causa a indigência; a mão diligente se enriquece.
