Salmos 47
Ao mestre de canto. Salmo dos filhos de Coré. Povos, aplaudi com as mãos, aclamai a Deus com vozes alegres,
porque o Senhor é o Altíssimo, o temível, o grande Rei do universo.
Ele submeteu a nós as nações, colocou os povos sob nossos pés,
escolheu uma terra para nossa herança, a glória de Jacó, seu amado.
Subiu Deus por entre aclamações, o Senhor, ao som das trombetas.
Cantai à glória de Deus, cantai; cantai à glória de nosso rei, cantai.
Porque Deus é o rei do universo; entoai-lhe, pois, um hino!
Deus reina sobre as nações, Deus está em seu trono sagrado.
Reuniram-se os príncipes dos povos ao povo do Deus de Abraão, pois a Deus pertencem os grandes da terra, a ele, o soberanamente grande.

For the LORD most high {is} terrible; {he is} a great King over all the earth.
He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.
He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.
God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
For God {is} the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding. {with: or, every one that hath}
God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
