| 11 | Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. | Az asszony csendességben tanuljon teljes engedelmességgel. |
| 12 | But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. | A tanítást pedig nem engedem meg az asszonynak, sem hogy a férfin uralkodjék, hanem legyen csendességben. |
| 13 | For Adam was first formed, then Eve. | Mert Ádám teremtetett elsõnek, azután Éva. |
| 14 | And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. | És Ádám nem csalattatott meg, hanem az asszony megcsalattatván, bûnbe esett: |
| 15 | Notwithstanding, she will be saved in child-bearing, if they continue in faith, and charity, and holiness, with sobriety. | Mindazáltal megtartatik a gyermekszüléskor, ha megmaradnak a hitben és szeretetben és a szent életben mértékletességgel. |
