4. A responsabilidade do envio e da pregação
But how can people call for help if they don’t know who to trust? And how can they know who to trust if they haven’t heard of the One who can be trusted? And how can they hear if nobody tells them? And how is anyone going to tell them, unless someone is sent to do it? That’s why Scripture exclaims,

But not everybody is ready for this, ready to see and hear and act. Isaiah asked what we all ask at one time or another: "Does anyone care, God? Is anyone listening and believing a word of it?" The point is: Before you trust, you have to listen. But unless Christ’s Word is preached, there’s nothing to listen to.
O apóstolo Paulo utiliza uma lógica irrefutável para nos conscientizar: o mundo não pode crer no Evangelho se ninguém se dispuser a anunciar a Verdade. Todo cristão é o elo necessário para que a mensagem de salvação chegue até aqueles que ainda estão perdidos na escuridão.

If with heart and soul you’re doing good, do you think you can be stopped? Even if you suffer for it, you’re still better off. Don’t give the opposition a second thought. Through thick and thin, keep your hearts at attention, in adoration before Christ, your Master. Be ready to speak up and tell anyone who asks why you’re living the way you are, and always with the utmost courtesy. Keep a clear conscience before God so that when people throw mud at you, none of it will stick. They’ll end up realizing that they’re the ones who need a bath. It’s better to suffer for doing good, if that’s what God wants, than to be punished for doing bad. That’s what Christ did definitively: suffered because of others’ sins, the Righteous One for the unrighteous ones. He went through it all—was put to death and then made alive—to bring us to God.
O evangelismo eficaz é fruto de um coração santificado. Pedro nos exorta a estarmos prontos para explicar nossa fé a quem perguntar, mantendo sempre uma atitude de mansidão, respeito e amor pelo ouvinte, sem impor ou debater com agressividade.
7. A urgência da colheita e a oração por trabalhadores
Later the Master selected seventy and sent them ahead of him in pairs to every town and place where he intended to go. He gave them this charge:
"What a huge harvest! And how few the harvest hands. So on your knees; ask the God of the Harvest to send harvest hands.
Jesus nos lembra de que há muitas pessoas prontas para ouvir e receber a Palavra de Deus, mas ainda faltam pessoas dispostas a trabalhar no campo. O chamado para a evangelização começa na oração sincera pedindo que Deus nos use nesse processo.
8. Fazer discípulos de todas as nações
Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: "God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age."
O objetivo final do evangelismo não é apenas conseguir decisões momentâneas, mas fazer discípulos de Cristo. O processo envolve caminhar junto, ensinar a Palavra de Deus e integrar a pessoa na comunhão da igreja local.
Atendendo ao chamado no seu dia a dia
