12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; 13 for "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

14 How then are they to call on Him in whom they have not believed? How are they to believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher? 15 But how are they to preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who*bring good news of good things!"

16 However, they did not all heed the *good news; for Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?" 17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word *of Christ.

2 This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by works of *the Law, or by hearing *with faith?

13 In *Him, *you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also *believed, you were sealed in *Him with the Holy Spirit of the promise, 14 who is a first installment of our inheritance, in regard to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.

24 "Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

Two Resurrections

25 Truly, truly, I say to you, *a time is coming and *even now has arrived, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.

44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day.45 It is written in the Prophets: ‘And they shall all be taught of God.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to Me.46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except the One who is from God; He has seen the Father.47 Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who believes has eternal life.

28 But He said, "On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and follow it."

23 If anyone has ears to hear, *let him hear."

15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

14 And *in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says,

‘*You shall keep on listening, *but shall not understand;

And*you shall keep on looking, *but shall not perceive;

15 For the heart of this people has become dull,

With their ears they scarcely hear,

And they have closed their eyes,

Otherwise they might see with their eyes,

Hear with their ears,

Understand with their heart, and return,

And I would heal them.’

16 But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear.

10 After Jesus called the crowd to Him, He said to them, "Hear and understand!

3 "Incline your ear and come to Me.

Listen, that *you may live;

And I will make an everlasting covenant with you,

According to the faithful mercies *shown to David.

9 And He said, "Go, and tell this people:

‘Keep on listening, but do not understand;

And keep on looking, but do not gain knowledge.’

10 "Make the hearts of this people *insensitive,

Their ears *dull,

And their eyes *blind,

So that they will not see with their eyes,

Hear with their ears,

Understand with their hearts,

And return and be healed."
