A Palavra de Deus é viva, eficaz e mais cortante que espada de dois gumes. Ela é lâmpada, alimento e purificação — tudo o que o cristão precisa para viver e crescer em fé.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, God. In verse 2 the Text also has "the God". and the Word was God.
So the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we observed His glory, glory of an Only-begotten, from the Father, full of grace and truth.
The Spirit is the One who makes alive; the flesh does not benefit anything. The words that I speak to you are spirit, are Life.
You are already clean because of the word that I have spoken to you.
But in answer He said, "It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but by every word coming out of God’s mouth.’ "
The heaven and the earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
