In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The Word became flesh and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the only born Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.(John 1:1,14)
For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.(Hebrews 4:12)
It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life. (John 6:63)
The entrance of your words gives light.
It gives understanding to the simple.(Psalms 119:130)
You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. (John 15:3)
But he answered, "It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of God’s mouth.’"(Matthew 4:4)
as newborn babies, long for the pure spiritual milk, that with it you may grow,(1 Peter 2:2)
I have hidden your word in my heart,
that I might not sin against you.(Psalms 119:11)
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. (Matthew 24:35)
Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth.(2 Timothy 2:15)
