O que significa a admiração na Bíblia
Na Bíblia, a verdadeira admiração por Deus é descrita como temor reverente: o respeito profundo diante da Sua santidade e soberania, e não um pavor que paralisa ou afasta. Reconhecer a grandeza de Deus coloca o ser humano no seu devido lugar e constitui o ponto de partida para qualquer sabedoria real.
Fear of YHWH [is the] beginning of knowledge, || Fools have despised wisdom and instruction!(Proverbs 1:7)
The commencement of wisdom [is] the fear of YHWH, || And a knowledge of the Holy Ones [is] understanding.(Proverbs 9:10)
The fear of YHWH [is] the beginning of wisdom, || Good understanding have all doing them, || His praise [is] standing forever!(Psalms 111:10)
The fear of YHWH [is] the instruction of wisdom, || And humility [is] before honor!(Proverbs 15:33)
Como a reverência a Deus transforma a conduta
A admiração bíblica não fica restrita ao sentimento: ela molda decisões práticas no dia a dia. Quem reverencia a Deus aprende a rejeitar o erro, vive com sobriedade e experimenta contentamento que o acúmulo material não proporciona.
The fear of YHWH [is] to hate evil; Pride, and arrogance, and an evil way, || And a contrary mouth, I have hated.(Proverbs 8:13)
Do not be wise in your own eyes, || Fear YHWH, and turn aside from evil. It is healing to your navel, || And moistening to your bones.(Proverbs 3:7,8)
Better [is] a little with the fear of YHWH, || Than much treasure, and tumult with it.(Proverbs 15:16)
The end of humility [is] the fear of YHWH, riches, and honor, and life.(Proverbs 22:4)
Having, then, these promises, beloved, may we cleanse ourselves from every defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting sanctification in the fear of God;(2 Corinthians 7:1)

But for you fearing My Name, || The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, || And you have gone forth, || And have bounded as calves of a stall.(Malachi 4:2)
God blesses us, and all the ends of the earth fear Him!(Psalms 67:7)
and it comes to pass, because the midwives have feared God, that He makes households for them;(Exodus 1:21)
O dever humano e a admiração nas relações
O propósito essencial da existência humana consiste em temer a Deus e guardar os Seus mandamentos. No convívio diário, esse mesmo princípio ensina a discernir o que merece admiração: prestar a honra devida a cada autoridade e valorizar o caráter piedoso acima das aparências passageiras.
And now, O Israel, what is your God YHWH asking from you, except to fear your God YHWH, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve your God YHWH with all your heart and with all your soul, to keep the commands of YHWH, and His statutes which I am commanding you today, for good for you?(Deuteronomy 10:12,13)
you walk after your God YHWH, and you fear Him, and you keep His commands, and you listen to His voice, and you serve Him, and you cleave to Him.(Deuteronomy 13:4)
The end of the whole matter let us hear: "Fear God, and keep His commands, for this [is] the whole of man.(Ecclesiastes 12:13)
Favor [is] deceitful, and beauty [is] vain, || A woman fearing YHWH, she may boast herself.(Proverbs 31:30)
render, therefore, to all [their] dues; to whom tribute, the tribute; to whom custom, the custom; to whom fear, the fear; to whom honor, the honor.(Romans 13:7)
To a despiser of his friends [is] shame, || And the fear of the Mighty he forsakes.(Job 6:14)
