The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;

Fools despise wisdom and instruction.(Proverbs 1:7)

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,

And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.(Proverbs 9:10)

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;

All those who follow His commandments have a good understanding;

His praise endures forever.(Psalm 111:10)

The fear of the Lord is the instruction for wisdom,

And before honor comes humility.(Proverbs 15:33)

"The fear of the Lord is to hate evil;

Pride, arrogance, the evil way,

And the perverted mouth, I hate.(Proverbs 8:13)

Do not be wise in your own eyes;

Fear the Lord and turn away from evil.

It will be healing to your body

And refreshment to your bones.(Proverbs 3:7,8)

Better is a little with the fear of the Lord

Than great treasure, and turmoil with the treasure.(Proverbs 15:16)

The reward of humility andthe fear of the Lord

Are riches, honor, and life.(Proverbs 22:4)

Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.(2 Corinthians 7:1)

Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,

On those who wait for His faithfulness,(Psalm 33:18)

Praise the Lord!

Blessed is a person who fears the Lord,

Who greatly delights in His commandments.(Psalm 112:1)

Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord,

Who walks in His ways.(Psalm 128:1)

But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and frolic like calves from the stall.(Malachi 4:2)

God blesses us,

So that all the ends of the earth may fear Him.(Psalm 67:7)

And because the midwives feared God, He established households for them.(Exodus 1:21)

"And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the Lord’s commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today for your good?(Deuteronomy 10:12,13)

You shall follow the Lord your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him.(Deuteronomy 13:4)

The conclusion, when everything has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person.(Ecclesiastes 12:13)

Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain,

But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.(Proverbs 31:30)

Pay to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; respect to whom respect; honor to whom honor.(Romans 13:7)

"For the despairing man there should be kindness from his friend;

So that he does not abandon the fear of the Almighty.(Job 6:14)
