O temor do Senhor é o princípio da sabedoria. A admiração reverente por Deus é a postura que produz conhecimento, obediência e bênção na vida do crente.
And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear before the Lord thy God, to walk in all the ways that are right before Him, and to love Him, and to serve before the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul; To keep the commandments of the Lord, and His statutes which I command thee this day, that it may be well with thee?
Thou shalt not hearken to the words of that prophet or dreamer of dreams; for the Lord your God is proving you, to know whether you will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
