O adultério é pecado grave que destrói alianças, famílias e vidas. A Bíblia condena firmemente a infidelidade conjugal e chama à pureza, fidelidade e santidade no casamento.
A lei de Deus
Não adulterarás. Quem comete adultério destrói a própria alma. A Palavra de Deus é clara e direta sobre este pecado.
Jesus ensina
Quem olhar para uma mulher com intenção impura já adulterou no coração. Jesus elevou o padrão da pureza.
Ye have heard that it was said, Thou shalt not commit adultery: but I say unto you, that everyone that looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
but I say unto you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, maketh her an adulteress: and whosoever shall marry her when she is put away committeth adultery.
For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, railings:
And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her: and if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.
