3 Lo, children are an inheritance from Jehovah, {and} the fruit of the womb a reward.4 As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth.5 Happy is the man that hath filled his quiver with them. They shall not be ashamed when they speak with enemies in the gate.

4 We will not hide {them} from their sons, shewing forth to the generation to come the praises of Jehovah, and his strength, and his marvellous works which he hath done.

6 Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.

27 For this boy I prayed; and Jehovah has granted me my petition which I asked of him.

3 I thank my God for my whole remembrance of you,

9 For what thanksgiving can we render to God for you, for all the joy wherewith we rejoice on account of you before our God,

28 Give unto Jehovah, ye families of peoples, Give unto Jehovah glory and strength!

17 Every good gift and every perfect gift comes down from above, from the Father of lights, with whom is no variation nor shadow of turning.

16 for of his fulness we all have received, and grace upon grace.

14 And the women said to Naomi, Blessed be Jehovah who hath not left thee this day without one that has the right of redemption, and may his name be famous in Israel!15 And he shall be to thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age; for thy daughter-in-law who loves thee, who is better to thee than seven sons, has borne him.

19 The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.
