Agradecer pela família é reconhecer a bênção mais preciosa que Deus nos concede. Os filhos são herança do Senhor — cada membro da família é presente divino a ser celebrado.

Like arrows in the hand of a warrior
are the children of one’s youth.
Blessed is the man
who fills his quiver with them!
He shall not be put to shame
when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.

We will not hide them from their children,
but tell to the coming generation
the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might,
and the wonders that he has done.
Grandchildren are the crown of the aged,
and the glory of children is their fathers.
For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition that I made to him.
Thanksgiving and Prayer
I thank my God in all my remembrance of you,
For what thanksgiving can we return to God for you, for all the joy that we feel for your sake before our God,
Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the peoples,
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength!
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.
For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.
Then the women said to Naomi, "Blessed be the Lord, who has not left you this day without a redeemer, and may his name be renowned in Israel! He shall be to you a restorer of life and a nourisher of your old age, for your daughter-in-law who loves you, who is more to you than seven sons, has given birth to him."
