The Lord, an Abundant Helper.

1 *Praise *the Lord!

Praise the Lord, my soul!

2 I will praise the Lord while I live;

I will sing praises to my God while I *have my being.

13 For You created my innermost parts;

You wove me in my mother’s womb.

14 I will give thanks to You, because *I am awesomely and wonderfully made;

Wonderful are Your works,

And my soul knows it very well.

15 My *frame was not hidden from You

When I was made in secret,

And skillfully formed in the depths of the earth;

16 Your eyes have seen my formless substance;

And in Your book were written

All the days that were ordained for me,

When as yet there was not one of them.

33 *I will sing to the Lord*as long as I live;

*I will sing praise to my God *while I have my being.

34 May my praise be pleasing to Him;

As for me, I shall rejoice in the Lord.

3 Know that the Lord*Himself is God;

It is He who has made us, and *not we ourselves;

We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

4 Enter His gates with *thanksgiving,

And His courtyards with praise.

Give thanks to Him, bless His name.

7 How precious is Your mercy, God!

And the sons of mankind take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.

8 They drink their fill of the *abundance of Your house;

And You allow them to drink from the river of Your delights.

9 For the fountain of life is with You;

In Your light we see light.

Thanksgiving for Rescue from Death.

1 I will exalt You, Lord, for You have lifted me up,

And have not let my enemies rejoice over me.

2 Lord my God,

I cried to You for help, and You healed me.

3 Lord, You have brought up my soul from *Sheol;

You have kept me alive, *that I would not go down to the pit.

Thanksgiving for God’s Justice.

1 I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart;

I will tell of all Your *wonders.

2 I will rejoice and be jubilant in You;

I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.

20 always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to our God and Father;

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you *to share in the inheritance of the *saints in light.

The Incomparable Christ

13 *For He rescued us from the *domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of *His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

15 *He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation: 16 for *by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or rulers, or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. 17 He *is before all things, and in Him all things *hold together.

10 When you have eaten and are satisfied, you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land which He has given you.

58 Lord, You have pleaded my soul’s cause;

You have redeemed my life.
