Agradecimento pela vida
Agradecer pela vida é reconhecer que cada respiração é dom de Deus. Toda criatura que tem fôlego louve ao Senhor — porque Ele nos formou e nos sustenta com amor.
Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Hallelujah.
Hallelujah. Praise the LORD, O my soul. I will praise the LORD while I live; I will sing praises unto my God while I have my being.
For Thou hast made my reins; Thou hast knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks unto Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are Thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My frame was not hidden from Thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see mine unformed substance, and in Thy book they were all written — even the days that were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have any being. Let my musing be sweet unto Him; as for me, I will rejoice in the LORD.
Know ye that the LORD He is God; it is He that hath made us, and we our His, His people, and the flock of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise; give thanks unto Him, and bless His name.
(36-8) How precious is Thy lovingkindness, O God! and the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Thy wings. (36-9) They are abundantly satisfied with the fatness of Thy house; and Thou makest them drink of the river of Thy pleasures. (36-10) For with Thee is the fountain of life; in Thy light do we see light.
(30-1) A Psalm; a Song at the Dedication of the House; of David. (30-2) I will extol thee, O LORD, for Thou hast raised me up, and hast not suffered mine enemies to rejoice over me. (30-3) O LORD my God, I cried unto Thee, and Thou didst heal me; (30-4) O LORD, Thou broughtest up my soul from the nether-world; Thou didst keep me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
(9-1) For the Leader; upon Muthlabben. A Psalm of David. (9-2) I will give thanks unto the LORD with my whole heart; I will tell of all Thy marvellous works. (9-3) I will be glad and exult in Thee; I will sing praise to Thy name, O Most High:
And thou shalt eat and be satisfied, and bless the LORD thy God for the good land which He hath given thee.
O Lord, Thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; Thou hast redeemed my life.
(2-7) I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars closed upon me for ever; yet hast Thou brought up my life from the pit, O LORD my God. (2-8) When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the LORD; and my prayer came in unto Thee, into Thy holy temple.
