18 in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.

20 always giving thanks to God the Father for all things, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

15 Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always]. 16 Let the [spoken] word of Christ have its home within you [dwelling in your heart and mind—permeating every aspect of your being] as you teach [spiritual things] and admonish and train one another with all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 17 Whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus [and in dependence on Him], giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

2 Be persistent and devoted to prayer, being alert and focused in your prayer life with an attitude of thanksgiving.

6 Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God.

4 Enter His gates with a song of thanksgiving

And His courts with praise.

Be thankful to Him, bless and praise His name.

1 *Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;

For His lovingkindness (graciousness, mercy, compassion) endures forever.

2 Let us come before His presence with a song of thanksgiving;

Let us shout joyfully to Him with songs.

3 For the Lord is a great God

And a great King above all gods,

1 It is a good and delightful thing to give thanks to the Lord,

To sing praises to Your name, O Most High,

2 To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning

And Your faithfulness by night,

23 "He who offers a sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving honors Me;

And to him who orders his way rightly [who follows the way that I show him],

I shall show the salvation of God."

28 You are my God, and I give thanks to You;

[You are] my God, I extol You.

29 O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;

For His lovingkindness endures forever.

13 Now therefore, our God, we thank You, and praise Your glorious name.

15 Now thanks be to God for His indescribable gift [which is precious beyond words]!

11 You will be enriched in every way so that you may be generous, and this [generosity, administered] through us is producing thanksgiving to God [from those who benefit].

57 but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory [as conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ.

4 I thank my God always for you because of the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus,

8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith [your trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness] is being proclaimed in all the world.

21 For even though *they knew God [as the Creator], they did not *honor Him as God or give thanks [for His wondrous creation]. On the contrary, they became worthless in their thinking [godless, with pointless reasonings, and silly speculations], and their foolish heart was darkened.

36 For from Him [all things originate] and through Him [all things live and exist] and to Him are all things [directed]. To Him be glory and honor forever! Amen.

24 The Lord bless you, and keep you [protect you, sustain you, and guard you];

25 The Lord make His face shine upon you [with favor],

And be gracious to you [surrounding you with lovingkindness];

26 The Lord lift up His countenance (face) upon you [with divine approval],

And give you peace [a tranquil heart and life].’

9 "But [as for me], I will sacrifice to You

With the voice of thanksgiving;

I shall pay that which I have vowed.

Salvation is from the Lord!"

3 We ought always and indeed are morally obligated [as those in debt] to give thanks to God for you, *brothers and sisters, as is fitting, because your faith is growing ever greater, and the [unselfish] *love of each one of you toward one another is continually increasing.

Where are the [other] nine?18 Was there no one found to return and to give thanks and praise to God, except this foreigner?"19 Jesus said to him, "Get up and go [on your way]. Your faith [your personal trust in Me and your confidence in God’s power] has restored you to health."

12 As He entered a village, He was met by ten lepers who stood at a distance; 13 and they raised their voices and called out, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!" 14 When He saw them, He said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests."
