35 for I hungered, and you gave Me to eat; I thirsted, and you gave Me to drink; I was a stranger, and you received Me; 36 naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you looked after Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me. 37 Then will the righteous answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungering, and we nourished? Or thirsting, and we gave to drink? 38 And when did we see You a stranger, and we received? Or naked, and we clothed? 39 And when did we see You ailing or in prison, and we came to You? 40 And the King answering, will say to them, Truly I say to you, inasmuch as you did [it] to one of these My brothers—the least—you did [it] to Me.

42 to him who is asking of you be giving, and him who is willing to borrow from you, you may not turn away.

16 so let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and may glorify your Father who [is] in the heavens.

38 Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed, and shaken, and running over, they will give into your bosom; for with that measure with which you measure, it will be measured to you again."

10 And the multitudes were questioning him, saying, "What, then, will we do?" 11 And he answering says to them, "He having two coats, let him impart to him having none; and he having food, let him do in like manner."

33 sell your goods, and give alms, make to yourselves bags that do not become old, a treasure unfailing in the heavens, where thief does not come near, nor moth destroy; 34 for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

12 This is My command, that you love one another, according as I loved you;

13 greater love has no one than this, that anyone may lay down his life for his friends;

35 I showed you all things, that, thus laboring, it is necessary to partake with the ailing, to also be mindful of the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said: It is more blessed to give than to receive." 36 And having said these things, having bowed his knees, with them all, he prayed, 37 and there came a great weeping to all, and having fallen on the neck of Paul, they were kissing him, 38 sorrowing most of all for the word that he had said—that they are about to see his face no longer; and they were accompanying him to the ship.

13 to the necessities of the holy ones communicating; the hospitality pursuing.

1 And we ought—we who are strong—to bear the weaknesses of the powerless, and not to please ourselves;

2 Bear the burdens of one another, and so fill up the law of the Christ,

28 whoever is stealing let him no longer steal, but rather let him labor, working the thing that is good with the hands, that he may have to impart to him having need.

4 do not each look to your own, but each also to the things of others.

14 What [is] the profit, my brothers, if anyone may speak of having faith, but he may not have works? Is that faith able to save him? 15 And if a brother or sister may be naked, and may be destitute of daily food, 16 and anyone of you may say to them, "Depart in peace, be warmed, and be filled," but may not give to them the things necessary for the body, what [is] the profit? 17 So also faith, if it may not have works, is dead by itself.

17 and whoever may have the goods of the world, and may view his brother having need, and may shut up his yearnings from him—how does the love of God remain in him?

17 Whoever is lending [to] YHWH is favoring the poor, || And He repays his deed to him.

11 because the poor does not cease out of the land, therefore I am commanding you, saying, You certainly open your hand to your brother, to your poor and to your needy one in your land.
