25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her,

33 Nevertheless, as for you individually, each husband is to love his own wife the same as himself, and the wife must see to it that she respects her husband.

28 So husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself; 29 for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also does the church,

25 Therefore, ridding yourselves of falsehood, speak truth each one of you with his neighbor, because we are parts of one another.

26 Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, 27 and do not give the devil *an opportunity.

29 Let no *unwholesome word come out of your mouth, but if there is any good word for edification *according to the need of the moment, say that, so that it will give grace to those who hear.

31 All bitterness, wrath, anger, *clamor, and slander must be removed from you, along with all malice. 32 Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven *you.

6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, no person is to separate."

15 But if it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served, which were beyond the Euphrates River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

4 Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.

18 Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. 19 Husbands, love your wives and do not become bitter against them.

14 In addition to all these things put on love, which is *the perfect bond of unity. 15 Let the peace of Christ, to which you were *indeed called in one body, *rule in your hearts; and *be thankful.

12 So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and*patience; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so must you do also.

4 Love is patient, love is kind, it is not jealous; love does not brag, it is not arrogant. 5 It does not act disgracefully, it does not seek its own benefit; it is not provoked, does not keep an account of a wrong suffered,6 it does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 it *keeps every confidence, it believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

10 But to the married I give instructions, not I, but the Lord, that the wife is not to leave her husband 11 (but if she does leave, she must remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband is not to *divorce his wife.

3 The husband must fulfill his duty to his wife, and likewise the wife also to her husband. 4 The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does; and likewise the husband also does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.5 *Stop depriving one another, except by agreement for a time so that you may devote yourselves to prayer, and *come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

3 Do nothing *from *selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility consider one another as more important than yourselves; 4 do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.

15 See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek what is good for one another and for all people.

8 Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.

22 He who finds a wife finds a good thing

And obtains favor from the Lord.
