Deus é nosso auxílio e socorro em todo tempo. Ele não dorme nem cochila. O Senhor é nosso ajudador — não precisamos temer o que o homem possa nos fazer.
My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
God is our protection and our strength; always ready to help when troubles come.
But God helps me; the Lord saves my life!
The Lord saves those who live right; he is their protection in times of trouble.
The Lord helps them and rescues them from the wicked. He saves them because they go to him for protection.
Hurry, come and help me, Lord my salvation.
Help us, God of our salvation, because of your wonderful character! Save us and forgive us our sins because that’s the kind of person you are!
Praise the Lord! For he has heard my appeal for mercy!
The Lord is my strength and my shield. I trust in him and he helps me. I’m so happy, and I sing my thanks to him.

Similarly the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We don’t know how to speak with God, but the Spirit himself intercedes with and through us by groans that can’t be put into words. The one who examines the minds of everyone knows the Spirit’s motives, because the Spirit pleads God’s cause on behalf of the believers.
Put your trust totally in the Lord—don’t rely on what you think you know! Remember him in everything you do, and he’ll show you the right way.
Surrender all your worries to him, because he cares for you.
