8 And God spoke to Noah, and to his sons with him, saying,9 Behold! I, even I, establish My covenant with you, and with your seed after you;10 and with every living creature that [is] with you, of the birds, of the cattle, and of every animal of the earth with you; from all that go out from the ark, to every animal of the earth.11 And I will establish My covenant with you. Neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood. Neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.12 And God said, This [is] the token of the covenant which I make between Me and you and every living creature with you, for everlasting generations:13 I set my rainbow in the cloud. And it shall be a token of a covenant between Me and the earth.
11 And I will establish My covenant with you. Neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood. Neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.
13 I set my rainbow in the cloud. And it shall be a token of a covenant between Me and the earth.
18 In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, I have given this land to your seed, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates,19 the Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites,20 and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the giants,21 and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.
3 And Abram fell on his face. And God talked with him, saying,4 As for Me, behold! My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations.5 Neither shall your name any more be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham. For I have made you a father of many nations.6 And I will make you exceedingly fruitful, greatly so, and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come out of you.7 And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your seed after you in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your seed after you.8 And I will give the land to you in which you are a stranger, and to your seed after you, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession. And I will be their God.9 And God said to Abraham, And you shall keep My covenant, you and your seed after you in their generations.10 This is My covenant, which you shall keep, between Me and you and your seed after you. Every male child among you shall be circumcised.11 And you shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin. And it shall be a token of the covenant between Me and you.
5 And in the fourteenth year Chedorlaomer and the kings that were with him came and struck the giants in Ashteroth Karnaim, and the Zuzim in Ham, and the Emim in Shaveh Kiriathaim,
5 And now if you will obey My voice indeed, and keep My covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure to Me above all the nations; for all the earth [is] Mine.
31 And I will stretch your bounds from the Red Sea even to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the desert to the river. For I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you.32 You shall make no covenant with them or with their gods.
10 And He said, Behold! I make a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation. And all the people in whose midst you [are] shall see the work of the LORD, for it is] an awesome thing that I will do with you.
28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights. He neither ate bread, nor drank water. And He wrote upon the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.
28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights. He neither ate bread, nor drank water. And He wrote upon the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.
13 And He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, ten commandments. And He wrote them on two tablets of stone.
9 Therefore, know that the LORD your God, He [is] God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations.
Alianças renovadas
O povo renovava a aliança diante do Senhor. A fidelidade de Deus permanece mesmo quando o povo falha.
14 And it happened, when the people moved from their tents to pass over Jordan, and as the priests carried the ark of the covenant before the people,15 and as those who bore the ark had come to Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bore the ark were dipped in the edge of the water (for Jordan overflows all its banks, all the time of harvest);16 that the waters which came down from above stopped [and] rose up all in a heap, very far from the city Adam that [is] beside Zaretan. And those that came down toward the sea of the plain, the Salt Sea, were completely cut off. And the people passed over across from Jericho.17 And the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the middle of Jordan. And all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people had passed completely over Jordan.
17 And Jehoiada made a covenant between the LORD and the king and the people, that they should be the people of Jehovah; also between the king and the people.
3 And the king stood by a pillar and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD and to keep His commandments and His testimonies and His statutes with all [his] heart and all [his soul, to perform the words of this covenant which was written in this Book. And all the people stood to the covenant.
6 And king Jehoram went out of Samaria at the same time and numbered all Israel.7 And he went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, saying, The king of Moab has rebelled against me. Will you go with me against Moab to battle? And he said, I will go up. I [am] as you are], my people as your people, my horses as your horses.
16 So Jonathan covenanted with the house of David, saying, Let the LORD even require [it] at the hand of David's enemies.17 And Jonathan caused David to swear again, because he loved him. For he loved him as he loved his own soul.
10 And the LORD spoke to Moses saying,11 Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned My wrath away from the sons of Israel while he was zealous for My sake among them, so that I did not destroy the sons of Israel in My jealousy.12 Therefore say, Behold! I give him My covenant of peace.13 And he shall have it, and his seed after him, the covenant of an everlasting priesthood, because he was zealous for his God, and made an atonement for the sons of Israel.
89 And when Moses had gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with Him, then he heard the voice of One speaking to him from the mercy-seat on the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubs. And He spoke to him.
1 And the LORD spoke to Moses saying,2 Speak to the sons of Israel, and take a rod from each of them for a father's house, of all their rulers, for their fathers' house, twelve rods. Write every man's name upon his rod.3 And you shall write Aaron's name upon the rod of Levi. For one rod [shall be] for the head of the house of their fathers.4 And you shall lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you.5 And it shall be, the rod of the man whom I shall choose shall blossom. And I will make to cease from Me the murmurings of the sons of Israel by which they murmur against you.6 And Moses spoke to the sons of Israel, and all their rulers gave to him a rod, for each ruler, one rod for each ruler, for their father's house, twelve rods. And the rod of Aaron [was] among their rods.7 And Moses laid up the rods before the LORD in the tabernacle of witness.8 And it happened on the next day Moses went into the tabernacle of witness. And behold! The rod of Aaron for the house of Levi had budded and had brought forth buds, and had bloomed blossoms, and had yielded almonds.9 And Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD to all the sons of Israel. And they looked, and each one took his rod.10 And the LORD said to Moses, Bring Aaron's rod again before the testimony, to be kept as a token against the rebels. And you shall completely take away their murmurings from Me so that they do not die.11 And Moses did as the LORD commanded him, so he did.
12 And the sons of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD. And the LORD made Eglon the king of Moab strong against Israel because they had done evil in the sight of the LORD.13 And he gathered to him the sons of Ammon and Amalek. And he went forth and struck Israel, and took the city of palm trees.
Nova Aliança
Eis que dias vêm em que farei nova aliança. Jesus é mediador de uma aliança superior, fundamentada em melhores promessas.
31 Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will cut a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah,32 not according to the covenant that I cut with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which covenant of Mine they broke, although I was a husband to them, says the LORD;33 but this [shall be] the covenant that I will cut with the house of Israel: After those days, says the LORD, I will put My law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.34 And they shall no more teach each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, Know the LORD; for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sins no more.
20 So says the LORD: If you can break My covenant of the day and My covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season,21 [then] also may My covenant with David My servant be broken, that he should not have a son to reign on his throne, and [My covenant] with the Levites the priests, My ministers.
15 And for this cause He is the Mediator of the new covenant, so that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions [that were] under the first covenant, those who are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
15 And for this cause He is the Mediator of the new covenant, so that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions [that were] under the first covenant, those who are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, by so much He is also the Mediator of a better covenant, which was built upon better promises.
20 Now may the God of peace (who brought again our Lord Jesus from [the] dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through [the] blood of the everlasting covenant)21 make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in you that [which] is well pleasing in His sight through Jesus Christ, to whom [be] glory forever and ever. Amen.
6 who also has made us able ministers of the new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit makes alive.
24 which things are being allegorized; for these are the two covenants, one indeed from Mount Sinai bringing forth to slavery, which is Hagar.25 For Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to Jerusalem which now is, and is in slavery with her children.26 But the Jerusalem [from] above is free, who is the mother of us all.
Fidelidade da aliança
A aliança de Deus é eterna. Ele não quebra seu pacto nem altera o que saiu dos seus lábios.
17 But the mercy of the LORD [is] from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness [is] to sons of sons;18 to those who keep His covenant, and to those who remember to do His commandments.
21 As for Me, this [is] My covenant with them, says the LORD; My spirit that is on you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed, nor out of the mouth of your seed's seed, says the LORD, from now on and forever.
25 And I will make a covenant of peace with them, and will send the evil beasts out of the land. And they shall dwell safely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.
8 And Jehovah [is] He who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not fail you nor forsake you. Do not fear; nor be dismayed.
27 And he shall confirm a covenant with many [for] one week. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease, and on a corner [of the altar] desolating abominations, even until [the] end. And that which was decreed shall be poured on the desolator.
5 And the king of the south shall be strong. And [one] of his rulers, even he shall overcome him and have power. His kingdom [shall be] a great kingdom.6 And in the end of years they shall join together; for the king's daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make a treaty. But she shall not keep the power of the arm. Nor shall he stand, nor his arm. But she [shall be given up, and those who brought her in, and her begetter, and he who made her strong in [these] times.
16 But he who comes against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him. And he shall stand in the glorious land, which [shall be] destroyed by his hand.17 He also shall set his face to enter with the strength of all his kingdom, and upright ones with him. So he shall do. And [he] shall give the daughter of women to him, to destroy it; but she shall not stand, nor be for him.
1 I made a covenant with my eyes; how then could I look upon a virgin?
16 [They] will deliver you from the strange woman, the stranger [who] flatters [with] her words,17 who forsakes the guide of her youth and forgets the covenant of her God.
