35 "I am*the bread of life," Jesus told them. "No one who comes to me*will ever be hungry,*and no one who believes in me*will ever be thirsty*again.

27 Don’t work for the food that perishes*but for the food that lasts for eternal life,*which the Son of Man*will give you, because God the Father*has set his seal of approval on him."

4 He answered, "It is written: Man must not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God."*,*

6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,*

for they will be filled.

33 But seek first the kingdom of God*,*and his righteousness,*and all these things will be provided for you.*

25 "Therefore I tell you:*Don’t worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing?*

2 Like newborn infants, desire the pure milk of the word,  *,* so that by it you may grow up into your salvation,

16 Then he took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven,  * he blessed and broke them.  * He kept giving them to the disciples to set before the crowd. 17 Everyone ate and was filled. They picked up twelve baskets of leftover pieces.

9 For he has satisfied the thirsty

and filled the hungry with good things.  *

10 Bring the full tenth into the storehouse  * so that there may be food in my house.  * Test me in this way,"  * says the Lord of Armies. "See if I will not open the floodgates of heaven  * and pour out a blessing for you without measure.  *

10 Now the one who provides seed for the sower and bread for food will also provide and multiply your seed and increase the harvest of your righteousness.  *

25 A generous person will be enriched,  *

and the one who gives a drink of water

will receive water.  *

24 Pleasant words are a honeycomb:  *

sweet to the taste  * and health to the body.  *,*

10 Then he said to them, "Go and eat what is rich, drink what is sweet, and send portions to those who have nothing prepared,  * since today  * is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, because the joy of the Lord is your strength."  *,*

7 For we brought nothing into the world, and  * we can take nothing out.  *8 If we have food and clothing,  * we will be content with these.

31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.  *

46 Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together in the temple, and broke bread from house to house. They ate their food with joyful and sincere hearts,  *47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. Every day the Lord added to their number  * those who were being saved.  *

20 See! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.*

3 One who eats must not look down on one who does not eat,  * and one who does not eat must not judge one who does,  * because God has accepted him.  *

16 Therefore, don’t let anyone judge  * you in regard to food and drink  * or in the matter of a festival or a new moon  * or a Sabbath day.  *17 These are a shadow  * of what was to come;  * the substance is  * Christ.  *

3 He humbled you by letting you go hungry; then he gave you manna to eat, which you and your ancestors had not known, so that you might learn that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.  *

9 "You may eat everything from the water that has fins and scales, 10 but you may not eat anything that does not have fins and scales — it is unclean for you.  *

29 God also said, "Look, I have given you every seed-bearing plant on the surface of the entire earth and every tree whose fruit contains seed. This will be food for you,  *

3 Every creature that lives and moves will be food for you;  * as I gave the green plants, I have given you everything.  *4 However, you must not eat meat with its lifeblood in it.  *

3 I didn’t eat any rich food,  * no meat or wine entered my mouth, and I didn’t put any oil on my body until the three weeks were over.
