Alimento
O alimento é provisão de Deus para o corpo e a alma. Jesus disse: Eu sou o pão da vida. A Bíblia ensina a receber com gratidão, partilhar com generosidade e confiar no Provedor.
O pão da vida
Jesus disse: Eu sou o pão da vida. Quem vem a mim nunca terá fome. O alimento espiritual sacia plenamente.
Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; he who comes to me will never hunger, and he who believes in me will never thirst.
Do not work for food that perishes, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has set his seal."
But Jesus answered, "It is written,
‘Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ "
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
"Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat and what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
Like newborn babies, long for pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may 13 ¦ grow into salvation 𝔐6 ANT CT PCKgrow,
Provisão divina
Deus provê alimento em abundância. Ele multiplica pães e peixes, enche os famintos e supre toda necessidade.
Then Jesus took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he said a blessing over them. Then he broke the loaves and fish into pieces and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd. They all ate and were filled, and what was left over was picked up, twelve baskets of broken pieces.
Now may he who provides seed to the sower, and bread for food, also multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness!
Gratidão e moderação
Nada trouxemos para o mundo e nada levaremos. Tudo o que fizerdes, fazei para a glória de Deus — inclusive comer e beber.
For we brought nothing into the world, and it is clear that we cannot bring anything out either, but if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.
So whether you eat or drink or do anything, do it all for the glory of God.
Day by day as they continued meeting together with one accord in the temple courts and breaking bread from house to house, they shared food together with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me.
The one who eats must not despise the one who does not eat, and the one who does not eat must not judge the one who eats, for God has received him.
Therefore let no one judge you in regard to food or drink, or in the matter of a feast, a New Moon celebration, or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance is Christ.
