O amor de Deus é a maior realidade do universo. Ele nos amou com amor eterno, incondicional e sacrificial — e nada no mundo pode nos separar desse amor.
Amor eterno
Deus amou o mundo de tal maneira que deu o seu Filho. Seu amor é de eternidade a eternidade — nunca falha.
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
8 But God shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.
38 For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Natureza do amor divino
Deus é amor. O amor é paciente, benigno. O amor do Pai nos adota como filhos e nos transforma à sua imagem.
7 Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and he who loves is born of God and knows God.8 He who does not love does not know God; for God is love.
9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.10 In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the expiation for our sins.11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
16 So we know and believe the love God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
19 We love, because he first loved us.
1 See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
7 Beloved, I am writing you no new commandment, but an old commandment which you had from the beginning; the old commandment is the word which you have heard.8 Yet I am writing you a new commandment, which is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining.
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.
4 Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful;
