O amor de Deus é a maior realidade do universo. Ele nos amou com amor eterno, incondicional e sacrificial — e nada no mundo pode nos separar desse amor.
Amor eterno
Deus amou o mundo de tal maneira que deu o seu Filho. Seu amor é de eternidade a eternidade — nunca falha.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him, may not perish, but have everlasting life.
8 But God recommendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
38 For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers,39 nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Natureza do amor divino
Deus é amor. O amor é paciente, benigno. O amor do Pai nos adota como filhos e nos transforma à sua imagem.
7 Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.8 He that loveth not, knoweth not God; for God is love.
9 Hereby was manifested the love of God toward us, because God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.10 Herein is love; not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son, a propitiation for our sins.11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
16 And we know and believe the love that God hath to us. God is love, and he that abideth in love, abideth in God, and God in him.
19 He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us.
1 Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the Sons of God; therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
7 Beloved, I write not a new commandment to you, but the old commandment, which ye have had from the beginning; the old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.8 Again, I do write a new commandment to you, which is true in him and in you: for the darkness is past away, and the true light now shineth.
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments; and his commandments are not grievous.
4 Love suffereth long and is kind; love envieth not; love acteth not rashly, is not puffed up:

14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all.
5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and the patience of Christ.
