34 A new commandment I give you, that you love one another; that as I have loved you, you also love one another.35 By this shall all men know, that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another.

12 This is my commandment, that you love one another, as I love you.

13 No man has greater love than this, to lay down his life for his friends.

11 For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

14 We know that we have passed away from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who loves not his brother, abides in death.

16 By this we have known the love of Christ, because he laid down his life for us; therefore we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.17 Whoever, therefore, has the goods of this world, and sees his brother in need, and yet shuts up his compassion from him, how abides the love of God in him?18 My little children, let us not love in word, nor in tongue; but in deed, and in truth.

7 Beloved, let us love one another; for love is from God: and every one who loves, has been begotten by God, and knows God.

10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent forth his Son to be a propitiation for our sins.11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we, also, ought to love one another.12 No one has seen God, at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and his love is made perfect in us.

20 If any one say, Indeed I love God, and yet hate his brother, he is a liar: for he who loves not his brother, whom he has seen, how can he love God, whom he has not seen?21 Moreover, this commandment we have from him, that he who loves God, loves his brother, also.

10 In brotherly love, be tenderly affectionate to one another-in honor, prefer one another.

8 Owe no man anything, unless to love one another. For he who loves another, has fulfilled the law.

8 Finally, be all of one mind, sympathizing, lovers of the brethren, tender-hearted, courteous-

8 And above all things, have fervent love to one another; for love will cover a multitude of sins.

9 But, concerning brotherly love, you have no need that I write to you, for you yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

1 Let brotherly love continue.2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for, by so doing, some have entertained angels, without knowing them.3 Remember them who are in bonds, as fellow-prisoners; and them who suffer evil, as being yourselves also in the body.

14 And over all these put on love, which is a bond of perfection.

37 «Jesus answered, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.»38 This is the first and greatest commandment.39 «The second is like it,'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'»

8 «If, now, indeed, you fulfill a royal law, according to the scripture,» 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself,' 'you do well.'
