O amor incondicional de Deus não depende de mérito humano. Ele nos amou quando ainda éramos pecadores. Esse amor não tem limites, não cobra preço e não pode ser perdido.

Deus prova o seu amor em que Cristo morreu por nós sendo nós ainda pecadores. O amor de Deus é gratuito e irrevogável.

How to treat enemies
"You have heard that it was said: ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you: love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may prove to be sons of your Father in the heavens; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and He sends rain on the just and the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your friends, what are you doing extra? Do not even the tax collectors do so? Therefore, you be perfect just as your Father in the heavens is perfect.
