Amor incondicional
O amor incondicional de Deus não depende de mérito humano. Ele nos amou quando ainda éramos pecadores. Esse amor não tem limites, não cobra preço e não pode ser perdido.
Amor sem condições
Deus prova o seu amor em que Cristo morreu por nós sendo nós ainda pecadores. O amor de Deus é gratuito e irrevogável.
But God demonstrates his love for us in that Christ died for us while we were still sinners.
Who would die for anybody else, even someone who does what’s right? (Though perhaps somebody would be brave enough to die for someone really good.) But God demonstrates his love for us in that Christ died for us while we were still sinners.
We have all sinned, and we fall far short of God’s glorious ideal. Yet through the free gift of his grace, God makes us right through Christ Jesus who sets us free.
Who can separate us from Christ’s love? Can oppression, distress, or persecution? Or hunger, poverty, danger, or violence?
For God loved the world, and this is how: he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who trusts in him shouldn’t die, but have eternal life.
All of us were once like that, our behavior determined by the desires of our sinful human nature and our evil way of thinking. Like everyone else, in our nature we were children of anger.
But God in his generous mercy, because of the amazing love he had for us even while we were dead in our sins, has made us alive together with Christ. Trusting in him has saved you!
But when the goodness and love of God our Savior was revealed, he saved us, not because of anything good that we’ve done, but because of his mercy. He did this through the cleansing of rebirth and renewal of the Holy Spirit, which he poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.
Amor eterno
Com amor eterno te amei. O amor de Deus é mais largo, mais alto e mais profundo do que podemos compreender.
Long ago the Lord came and told us, My love for you will last forever. I hold you close to me with my trustworthy love.
Thank the God of heaven! For his trustworthy love lasts forever.
Lord, your faithful love reaches to the heavens, your trustworthiness to the clouds.
A true friend is always there to love you, and family provides help when troubles come.
How was God’s love shown to us? God sent his one and only Son into the world so that we could live through him.
This is love! It’s not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and he sent his Son to be the means by which our sins are forgiven.
We love because he loved us first.
This is how we know what love is: Jesus laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for our Christian brothers and sisters.
Amar como Deus ama
O amor é paciente e bondoso. Amai os vossos inimigos. O amor incondicional se expressa no perdão e na compaixão.
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous. Love is not boastful. Love is not proud. Love does not act improperly, or insist on having its own way. Love is not argumentative and doesn’t keep a record of wrongs.
Love takes no delight in evil but celebrates the truth. Love never gives up, keeps on trusting, stays confident, and remains patient whatever happens.
You’ve heard that the law said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so you may become children of your heavenly Father. For his sun shines on both the good and the bad; and he makes the rain fall on both those who do right and those who do wrong. For if you only love those who love you, what reward do you have? Don’t even the tax collectors do that? If you only speak kindly to your family, what more are you doing than anyone else? Even the heathen do that! Grow up and become completely trustworthy, just as your heavenly Father is trustworthy."
But I say to those of you who are listening: Love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you. Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who mistreat you.
Most of all, you should love one another very deeply, for love covers many of the wrong things people do.
