14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.*

*Wonderful are your works;

my soul knows it very well.

17 How precious to me are your *thoughts, O God!

How vast is the sum of them!

18 *If I would count them, they are more than *the sand.

I awake, and I am still with you.

3 When I *look at your heavens, the work of your *fingers,

the moon and the stars, *which you have set in place,

4 *what is man that you are *mindful of him,

and *the son of man that you *care for him?

5 Yet you have made him a little lower than *the heavenly beings*

and crowned him with *glory and honor.

7 He *raises the poor from the dust

and lifts the needy from the ash heap,

8 to make them *sit with princes,

with the princes of his people.

7 But the Lord said to Samuel, *"Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, *but the Lord looks on the heart."

9 But you are *a chosen race, *a royal *priesthood, *a holy nation, *a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you *out of darkness into *his marvelous light.

6 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies?*And *not one of them is forgotten before God.7 Why, *even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; *you are of more value than many sparrows.

3 For *by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you *not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, *each according to *the measure of faith that God has assigned.
