9 But you are a chosen lineage, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

6 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten in the sight of God. 7 Indeed, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. *So do not be afraid; you are of *more value than many sparrows.

3 For by the grace given to me I tell everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think, but to think sensibly, in accordance with the measure of faith that God has distributed to each one of you.
