Ânimo
O ânimo vem de Deus. Ele nos fortalece, nos encoraja e renova nossas forças. Quando o desânimo chega, as promessas de Deus nos levantam e nos impulsionam a seguir em frente.
The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?
The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord;
he is their stronghold in the time of trouble.
On the day I called, you answered me;
my strength of soul you increased.
I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Then the people answered, "Far be it from us that we should forsake the Lord to serve other gods, for it is the Lord our God who brought us and our fathers up from the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery, and who did those great signs in our sight and preserved us in all the way that we went, and among all the peoples through whom we passed.
In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials,
For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine.
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
for this reason, brothers, in all our distress and affliction we have been comforted about you through your faith.
