O ânimo vem de Deus. Ele nos fortalece, nos encoraja e renova nossas forças. Quando o desânimo chega, as promessas de Deus nos levantam e nos impulsionam a seguir em frente.
A Declaration of Trust
Yahweh is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
Yahweh is the refuge of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?
And the salvation of the righteous is from Yahweh,
their refuge in the time of trouble.
When I called and you answered me,
you emboldened me in my soul with strength.
I am able to do all things by the one who strengthens me.
convinced of this same thing, that the one who began a good work in you will finish it until the day of Christ Jesus,
For God has not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power and love and self-discipline.
For I know the plans that I am planning concerning you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘plans for prosperity and not for harm, to give to you a future and a hope.
And the people answered and said, "Far be it from us that we would forsake Yahweh to serve other gods, for Yahweh our God brought us and our ancestors from the land of Egypt, from the house of slavery, and did these great signs before our eyes. He protected us along the entire way that we went, and among all the peoples through whose midst we passed.
in which you rejoice greatly, although now for a short time, if necessary, you are distressed by various trials,
For I desire to see you, in order that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, in order to strengthen you, that is, to be encouraged together with you through our mutual faith, both yours and mine.
Therefore we do not lose heart, but even if our outer person is being destroyed, yet our inner person is being renewed day after day.
Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, just as indeed you are doing.
because of this, brothers, we have been comforted because of you in all our distress and affliction through your faith,
