The Lord Rescues People from Many Troubles.

1 Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good,

For His mercy is everlasting.

24 This is the day which the Lord has made;

Let’s rejoice and be glad in it.

The Lord, a Provider and the One Who Rescues Me.

1 I will bless the Lord at all times;

His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

7 The Lord is my strength and my shield;

My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;

Therefore my heart triumphs,

And with my song I shall thank Him.

7 You have put joy in my heart,

More than when their grain and new wine are abundant.

11 You will make known to me the way of life;

In Your presence is fullness of joy;

In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.

4 One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek:

That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,

To behold the *beauty of the Lord

And to *meditate in His temple.

12 So teach us to number our days,

That we may *present to You a heart of wisdom.

31 A gray head is a crown of glory;

It is found in the way of righteousness.

29 The glory of young men is their strength,

And the *honor of old men is their gray hair.

31 Yet those who *wait for the Lord

Will gain new strength;

They will *mount up with wings like eagles,

They will run and not get tired,

They will walk and not become weary.

10 And now behold, the Lord has let me live, just as He spoke, these forty-five years, from the time that the Lord spoke this word to Moses, when Israel walked in the wilderness; and now behold, I am eighty-five years old today. 11 I am still as strong today as I was on the day Moses sent me; as my strength was then, so my strength is now, for war and for going out and coming in.

24 The Lord bless you, and *keep you;

25 The Lord cause His face to shine on you,

And be gracious to you;

26 The Lord lift up His face to you,

And give you peace.’

2 Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.
