Aprender
Aprender é vocação do discípulo. Jesus disse: aprendei de mim. A Bíblia convida a aprender com humildade, perseverança e disposição — sentados aos pés do Mestre.
Aprender de Jesus
Tomai sobre vós o meu jugo e aprendei de mim. O Espírito Santo nos ensinará todas as coisas e nos recordará tudo.
Ensino e sabedoria
O temor do Senhor é o princípio do saber. A disciplina do Senhor forma o caráter e abre caminhos de entendimento.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
And there is good understanding to all that practice it:
And piety toward God is the beginning of discernment;
But the ungodly will set at nought wisdom and instruction.
My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord;
Nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
For whom the Lord loves, he rebukes,
And scourges every son whom he receives.
For I teach thee the ways of wisdom;
And I cause thee to go in right paths.
He that loves instruction loves sense,
But he that hates reproofs is a fool.
And thou shalt know in thy heart, that as if any man should chasten his son, so the Lord thy God will chasten thee.

Ensinem e aconselhem-se mutuamente. A igreja é escola de Cristo — onde todos ensinam e todos aprendem juntos.
Ouvir e praticar
Ensina-me a fazer a tua vontade. Guia-me pela tua verdade. O verdadeiro aprendiz pratica o que ouviu do Mestre.
Even to him who gives salvation to kings:
Who redeems his servant David from the hurtful sword.
I have not sat with the council of vanity,
And will in nowise enter in with transgressors.
I have hated the assembly of wicked doers;
And will not sit with ungodly men.
O Lord, I have loved the beauty of thy house,
And the place of the tabernacle of thy glory.
Destroy not my soul together with the ungodly,
Nor my life with bloody men:
Let all the earth fear the Lord;
And let all that dwell in the world be moved because of him.
which our soul longs for: my spirit seeks thee very early in the morning, O God, for thy commandments are a light on the earth: learn righteousness, ye that dwell upon the earth.
