9 After he said this, he was lifted up as they looked on, and a cloud took him out of their sight.

10 As he went, they were gazing up into the sky, when behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them. 11 They said, "Men of Galilee, why are you standing here *12 ¦ looking 𝔐10 SBL TH WHstaring into the sky? This Jesus who was taken up from you into heaven will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."

19 After the *Lord had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven, and he sat down at the right hand of God.

50 Then he led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them. 51 While he was blessing them, he parted from them and was carried up into heaven.

2 In my Father’s house there are many rooms. If it were not so, I would have told *you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.

12 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do. He will even do greater works than these, because I am going to *my Father.

28 I came from the Father and have come into the world, and now I am leaving the world and going to the Father."

17 Jesus said to her, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to *my Father. But go to my brothers and tell them that I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God."

33 Then Jesus *said, "I will be with you for only a little while longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.

16 Beyond all question, great is the mystery of godliness:

*God was revealed in the flesh,

vindicated by the Spirit,

seen by angels,

preached among nations,

believed on in the world,

and taken up in glory.
