Beleza
A verdadeira beleza vem de dentro. A Bíblia ensina que o encanto é enganoso e a formosura é vã, mas a mulher que teme ao Senhor — essa sim merece louvor.
Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: the woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
Whose adorning let it not be the outward plaiting of the hair, or the wearing of gold, or the putting on of apparel: But the hidden man of the heart in the incorruptibility of a quiet and a meek spirit, which is rich in the sight of God.
And the Lord said to Samuel: Look not on his countenance, nor on the height of his stature: because I have rejected him, nor do I judge according to the look of man: for man seeth those things that appear, but the Lord beholdeth the heart.
In like manner women also in decent apparel: adorning themselves with modesty and sobriety, not with plaited hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly attire, But as it becometh women professing godliness, with good works.
I know that the Lord will do justice to the needy, and will revenge the poor.
But as for the just, they shall give glory to thy name: and the upright shall dwell with thy countenance.
Thou art all fair, O my love, and there is not a spot in thee.
And God created man to his own image: to the image of God he created him: male and female he created them.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus in good works, which God hath prepared that we should walk in them.
Arise, be enlightened, O Jerusalem: for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
The grass is withered, and the flower is fallen: but the word of our Lord endureth for ever.
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man is corrupted, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
Therefore I say to you, be not solicitous for your life, what you shall eat, nor for your body, what you shall put on. Is not the life more than the meat: and the body more than the raiment?
