Beleza
O espelho costuma cobrar um preço alto de quem vive tentando alcançar um padrão que muda o tempo todo. A sociedade gasta tempo e dinheiro correndo atrás de uma imagem que se desfaz com os anos, gerando desgaste e frustração para quem se mede por aparências.
Deus olha para um lugar bem diferente quando avalia o valor de alguém. A Escritura mostra que o Criador valoriza o que nasce no coração e permanece, moldando uma identidade que o tempo não consegue apagar e que traz paz verdadeira para a alma.
A verdadeira beleza vem de dentro. A Bíblia ensina que o encanto é enganoso e a formosura é vã, mas a mulher que teme ao Senhor — essa sim merece louvor.
Of whom let it not be the outward adorning of braiding of hair, and wearing of gold, or of putting on of fine clothes, rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible attitude of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious before God.
Likewise also that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and discretion, not with braids or gold or pearls or expensive clothing, but which is fitting for women professing godliness, by means of good works.
For we are His handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Seeing the Invisible
Therefore we do not despair, but even if our outward man is decaying, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
Do Not Worry
"Because of this I say to you, do not worry about your life—what you shall eat, or what you shall drink—nor about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
