Toda Escritura é inspirada por Deus. Homens santos falaram da parte de Deus movidos pelo Espírito Santo.
Poder da Palavra
A Palavra de Deus é viva e eficaz. O céu e a terra passarão, mas as minhas palavras jamais passarão.
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Estudar e pregar
Os bereanos examinavam as Escrituras diariamente. Procura apresentar-te a Deus aprovado como obreiro que maneja bem a Palavra.
Now these were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, examining the scriptures daily, whether these things were so.
and Paul, as his custom was, went in unto them, and for three sabbath days reasoned with them from the scriptures, opening and alleging that it behooved the Christ to suffer, and to rise again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom, said he, I proclaim unto you, is the Christ.
And Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? And he said, How can I, except someone shall guide me? And he besought Philip to come up and sit with him. Now the passage of the scripture which he was reading was this,
He was led as a sheep to the slaughter;
And as a lamb before his shearer is dumb,
So he openeth not his mouth:
And Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this scripture, preached unto him Jesus.
And Jesus came to them and spake unto them, saying, All authority hath been given unto me in heaven and on earth. Go ye, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
