All Scripture is inspired by God , and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
and you know that from infancy you have known the sacred Scriptures, which are able to give you wisdom for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is inspired by God , and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
Above all, you know this: No prophecy of Scripture comes from the prophet’s own interpretation, because no prophecy ever came by the will of man; instead, men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
Be diligent to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who doesn’t need to be ashamed, correctly teaching the word of truth.
Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and encourage with great patience and teaching.
Until I come, give your attention to public reading, exhortation, and teaching.
Poder da Palavra
A Palavra de Deus é viva e eficaz. O céu e a terra passarão, mas as minhas palavras jamais passarão.
For the word of God is living and effective and sharper than any double-edged sword, penetrating as far as the separation of soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
He answered, "It is written: Man must not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.",
For just as rain and snow fall from heaven
and do not return there
without saturating the earth
and making it germinate and sprout,
and providing seed to sow
and food to eat,
so my word that comes from my mouth
will not return to me empty,
but it will accomplish what I please
and will prosper in what I send it to do."
Sanctifythem by the truth;your word is truth.
You pore over the Scripturesbecause you think you have eternal life in them, and yet they testify about me.
but the word of the Lord endures forever.,
And this word is the gospel that was proclaimed to you.
How can a young man keep his way pure?
By keeping your word.
The entirety of your word is truth,
each of your righteous judgments endures forever.
Estudar e pregar
Os bereanos examinavam as Escrituras diariamente. Procura apresentar-te a Deus aprovado como obreiro que maneja bem a Palavra.
The people here were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, since they received the word with eagerness and examined the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.
As usual, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days reasoned with them from the Scriptures, explaining and proving that it was necessary for the Messiah to suffer and rise from the dead: "This Jesus I am proclaiming to you is the Messiah."
When Philip ran up to it, he heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, "Do you understand what you’re reading? "
"How can I," he said, "unless someone guides me? " So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him. Now the Scripture passage he was reading was this:
He was led like a sheep to the slaughter,
and as a lamb is silent before its shearer,
so he does not open his mouth.
Philip proceeded to tell him the good news about Jesus, beginning with that Scripture.
Now Ezra had determined in his heart to study the law of the Lord, obey it, and teach its statutes and ordinances in Israel.
He said to them, "How foolish you are, and how slowto believe all that the prophets have spoken!Wasn’t it necessary for the Messiah to sufferthese things and enter into his glory? "Then beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted for them the things concerning himself in all the Scriptures.
Jesus came near and said to them, "All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.Go, therefore, and make disciplesofall nations, baptizingthem in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember,I am with you always,to the end of the age."
As you go, proclaim, ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’
Revelação e fidelidade
A Palavra do Senhor veio aos profetas. A graça de Deus se manifestou na Escritura para a salvação de todos.
Then the word of the Lord came to him:
The word of the Lord that came to Joel son of Pethuel:
The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah:
A pronouncement:
The word of the Lord to Israel through Malachi.
The word of the Lord came to Zechariah:
Then the word of the Lord came to Isaiah:
The Spirit of the Lord God is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor.
He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives
and freedom to the prisoners;
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor,
and the day of our God’s vengeance;
to comfort all who mourn,
to provide for those who mourn in Zion;
to give them a crown of beauty instead of ashes,
festive oil instead of mourning,
and splendid clothes instead of despair.
And they will be called righteous trees,
planted by the Lord
to glorify him.
Viver pela Palavra
Não só de pão vive o homem. Nada acrescentes nem diminuas. A Palavra é alimento, guia e espada do cristão.
Every word of God is pure; ,
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
Don’t add to his words,
or he will rebuke you, and you will be proved a liar.
I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book. And if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share of the tree of life and the holy city, which are written about in this book.
I am amazed that you are so quickly turning away from him who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel — not that there is another gospel, but there are some who are troubling you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, a curse be on him! As we have said before, I now say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, a curse be on him!
Also, regard the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our dear brother Paul has written to you according to the wisdom given to him. He speaks about these things in all his letters. There are some things hard to understand in them. The untaught and unstable will twist them to their own destruction, as they also do with the rest of the Scriptures.
For whatever was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that we may have hope through endurance and through the encouragement from the Scriptures.
How, then, can they call on him they have not believed in? And how can they believe without hearing about him? And how can they hear without a preacher? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautifulare the feet of those who bring good news.,But not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, Lord, who has believed our message?,So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the message about Christ. ,
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, , because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, , just as it is written: The righteous will live by faith.,,
Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we may understand what has been freely given to us by God. We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people. But the person without the Spirit does not receive what comes from God’s Spirit, because it is foolishness to him; he is not able to understand it since it is evaluated spiritually.
For since, in God’s wisdom, the world did not know God through wisdom, God was pleased to save those who believe through the foolishness of what is preached.
For the Jews ask for signs and the Greeks seek wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to the Jews and foolishness to the Gentiles. Yet to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God,
For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel — not with eloquent wisdom, so that the cross of Christ will not be emptied of its effect.
But you are a chosen race,,,a royal priesthood,,a holy nation,,a people for his possession,,so that you may proclaim the praises,, of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
