All Scripture is inspired by God and is beneficial for teaching, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.
and how from childhood yoʋ have known the sacred writings, which are able to give yoʋ wisdom for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is inspired by God and is beneficial for teaching, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.
First of all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation. For no prophecy ever came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
Be diligent to present yoʋrself to God as a proven worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly teaches the word of truth.
Preach the word, be prepared whether the time is favorable or not, reprove, rebuke, and encourage, with complete patience and careful instruction.
Until I come, give attention to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, and to teaching.
Poder da Palavra
A Palavra de Deus é viva e eficaz. O céu e a terra passarão, mas as minhas palavras jamais passarão.
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the point of dividing soul from spirit, and joints from marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will certainly not pass away.
But Jesus answered, "It is written,
‘Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ "
Sanctify them by yoʋr truth; yoʋr word is truth.
You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life, and it is these that testify about me,
but the word of the Lord endures forever."
This word is the good news that was preached to you.
Estudar e pregar
Os bereanos examinavam as Escrituras diariamente. Procura apresentar-te a Deus aprovado como obreiro que maneja bem a Palavra.
Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica, and they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.
As was his custom, Paul went in to them, and for three Sabbaths he reasoned with them from the Scriptures, explaining and presenting evidence that it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead, saying, "This Jesus whom I am proclaiming to you is the Christ."
So Philip ran up to it and heard the man reading the prophet Isaiah. He said, "Do yoʋ understand what yoʋ are reading?" The man said, "How can I, unless someone guides me?" So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him. This is the passage of Scripture that he was reading:
"Like a sheep he was led to slaughter,
and like a lamb is silent before its shearer,
15 ¦ --- 𝔐10 so he did not open his mouth.
Then Philip opened his mouth to speak, and beginning from this Scripture, he told him the good news about Jesus.
Then Jesus said to them, "O foolish men, how slow of heart you are to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and enter into his glory?" And beginning from Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them the things written about himself in all the Scriptures.
Then Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
As you go, preach that the kingdom of heaven has drawn near.
Revelação e fidelidade
A Palavra do Senhor veio aos profetas. A graça de Deus se manifestou na Escritura para a salvação de todos.
Viver pela Palavra
Não só de pão vive o homem. Nada acrescentes nem diminuas. A Palavra é alimento, guia e espada do cristão.

I am astonished that you are so quickly turning away from him who called you by the grace of Christ and turning to a different gospel, not that there is another gospel, but there are some who are troubling you and wish to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven 176 48.5% • TH 1% • WH 0.8% ¦ --- 𝔐160 HF 39.7%should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed! As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone preaches to you a gospel contrary to what you received, let him be accursed!
And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul has written to you according to the wisdom given to him. He speaks about these things in all his letters. Some of the things he says are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people twist to their own destruction, just as they do with the other Scriptures.
For everything that was written in former times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures, we might have hope.
How then will they call upon him in whom they have not believed? And how will they believe in him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without someone preaching? And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who preach good news of good things!" But not all the Israelites have obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?" So then, faith comes by hearing, and hearing comes through the word of God.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, both to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, just as it is written, "The righteous will live by faith."
Now we did not receive the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we might understand what God has freely given us. We speak about this, not with words taught by human wisdom but with words taught by the Holy Spirit, interpreting spiritual things to spiritual people.
The natural man does not accept what comes from the Spirit of God, because it is foolishness to him; he is not able to understand it because it is spiritually discerned.
For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of our proclamation to save those who believe.
For Jews ask for a sign and Greeks seek wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Greeks, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.
For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, and not with cleverness of speech, so that the cross of Christ would not be deprived of its power.
But you are a chosen lineage, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
