33 These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world."

9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified nor dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

25 Joshua then said to them, "Do not fear or be dismayed! Be strong and courageous, for the Lord will do this to all your enemies with whom you fight."

10 ‘Do not fear, for I am with you;

Do not be afraid, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you, I will also help you,

I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

7 For God has not given us a spirit of *timidity, but of power and love and *discipline.

13 I can do all things *through Him who strengthens me.

24 Be strong and let your heart take courage,

All you who wait for the Lord.

3 On the day I called, You answered me;

You made me bold with strength in my soul.

1 The Lord is my light and my salvation;

Whom should I fear?

The Lord is the *defense of my life;

Whom should I dread?

27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, "Take courage, *it is I; do not be afraid."

50 for they all saw Him and were *terrified. But immediately He spoke with them and *said to them, "Take courage; it is I, do not be afraid."

48 And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has *made you well; go in peace."

6 Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord—

10 Then on the twenty-third day of the seventh month he sent the people to their tents, rejoicing and happy in heart because of the goodness that the Lord had shown to David, to Solomon, and to His people Israel.

7 "Be strong and courageous, do not fear or be dismayed because of the king of Assyria nor because of all the horde that is with him; for the One with us is greater than the one with him.

10 If you show yourself lacking courage on the day of distress,

Your strength is meager.

25 Therefore, keep up your courage, men, for I believe God that *it will turn out exactly as I have been told.

6 For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work *among you will complete it *by the day of Christ Jesus.

6 In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various *trials,

39 But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord;

He is their strength in time of trouble.

11 For I long to see you so that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be *established; 12 that is, that I may be encouraged together with you while among you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine.

16 Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer person is decaying, yet our inner person is being renewed day by day.

11 Therefore, *encourage one another and build one another up, just as you also are doing.

7 for this reason, brothers and sisters, in all our distress and affliction we were comforted about you through your faith;

16 The people answered and said, "Far be it from us that we would abandon the Lord to serve other gods; 17 for the Lord our God is He who brought us and our fathers up out of the land of Egypt, from the house of slaves, and did these great signs in our sight and watched over us through all the way in which we went and among all the peoples through whose midst we passed.

11 For I know the plans that I *have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for *prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
